Corey Graves says calling Worlds Collide has reignited his passion

Corey Graves, who took the difficult task of doing commentary for the WWE/AAA Worlds Collide show this past weekend, wrote on X that calling the show with Konnan reignited his passion.

He thanked AAA for allowing him to do the honors and said he only wanted to do their culture and business proud.

“Thank you to @Konnan5150 for dropping the important knowledge and being a genuinely first class human being,” Graves wrote about his commentary partner on the night. “He loves this more than any of us will ever understand.”

He also thanked the fans for reminding him that a rough patch is not the end of the road before professing his love for professional wrestling.

It has been a bit of a turbulent year for Graves, who got “demoted” from his main roster commentary duties and sent to do NXT color commentary with Vic Joseph and Booker T. Some unnecessary words landed him in hot water after the first week but Graves has soldiered on and got the nod to lead the commentary desk for the first-ever joined WWE and AAA show.
