Cody Rhodes wins the WWE Championship at SummerSlam

John Cena’s #17 has come to an end after four months at SummerSlam to the hands of the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes.

Cena entered to the ring first to his black Titan Tron but then it turned to the usual colorful entrance with the New Jersey crowd helping singing his theme.

It was probably Cena’s best match since coming back, slightly helped by the fact that this was a street fight, but Cody had his Cena’s number this time.

Rhodes won his second WWE title after hitting a Cross Rhodes finisher, but not before he gave Cena a salute.

After the match, Cena gave Rhodes the belt and hugged him and the two exchanged an emotional moment together in the ring. Rhodes celebrated with fireworks and Cena raised his hand.

Rhodes left the ring with the fans chanting for Cena. But as he was about to leave….
