It looks like the undisputed WWE champion is heading down to NXT tomorrow night after he teased an appearance on X.

During the Battleground premium live event, Rhodes wrote that he was watching the show because he was curious how his “old friend” Ethan Page would do against Trick Williams.

“Actually thinking of ‘dashing’ down to FL this week with a gift and see some old friends,” Rhodes added.

Another “old friend” currently in NXT is Shawn Spears and the two of them had a feud when they were in AEW.

WWE is obviously looking to keep the momentum going for NXT after last week’s impressive number and the Battleground fallout and an appearance from the American Nightmare will surely add to that.
