Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will have their first encounter this Friday night on Smackdown as the Royal Rumble winner announced on Raw that he is going over to the blue brand to confront Reigns.

Rhodes, often regarded as the face of AEW when he was there, and Reigns, who is undoubtedly the face of WWE, will be squaring off at WrestleMania for the Undisputed WWE Universal title and Rhodes is on a mission to “finish the story” and become the first member of his family to win the big one.

Cody already had two encounters with Paul Heyman, two encounters which were highly praised. But Roman was busy with Sami Zayn since the Rumble and the two have yet to cross paths. But with WrestleMania a month away, things are expected to kick into full gear for this highly-anticipated match.
