Cody Rhodes declares for the 2026 Royal Rumble match

Cody Rhodes became the first person to declare for this year’s Royal Rumble with the show just two weeks away.

Rhodes, who already won two editions of the Rumble in 2023 and 2024, will have a chance to go for the third one after he lost his WWE title to Drew McIntyre last week in a Three Stages of Hell match.

If Rhodes does end up winning the match, he would join Stone Cold Steve Austin as the only other person in WWE history to win the Rumble on three separate occasions. Austin won the 1997, 1998, and 2001 editions.

None of the women have declared for the Rumble so far.
