Shortly after it was announced that CM Punk would be wrestling at the Kia Forum live event in Inglewood, California, the former two-time AEW World champion was also added to the Boxing Day non-televised live event show from Madison Square Garden.

As things stand, his return to Madison Square Garden will be his first WWE match since January 2014 and he will also be taking on Dominik Mysterio at this show.

The MSG event has sold over 11,000 tickets for this annual Christmas week show while the Kia Forum show is at around 9,000.
