Claude “Thunderbolt” Patterson to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2024

WWE announced through an article on Andscape that Claude “Thunderbolt” Patterson will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2024.

Patterson, now 82, mostly wrestled for the NWA during his career and in the 1970s spoke against poor working conditions and racism in professional wrestling, something that got him banned from the sport for a while.

He retired from wrestling in 1985 and is now an ordained minister.

Patterson joins Paul Heyman, Bull Nakano, the US Express, and Muhammad Ali as part of the class of 2024.
