Chelsea Green, the former Impact Knockouts champion and current WWE Performance Center trainee, returned to the ring during the weekend after nearly four months out.

Green suffered a broken wrist that required surgery in mid-March during NXT television tapings and has obviously not seen any in-ring action since then.

But on Saturday, the artist who refers herself as “hot mess,” teamed up with Deonna Purrazzo at the NXT non-televised live event in Venice, Floria. Unfortunately for her and her team mate, they lost to Kacy Catanzaro and Lacey Lane.

Green, who was signed to a WWE deal in August of last year, is engaged to WWE Superstar Zack Ryder. She performed as Laurel Van Ness in Impact Wrestling for two years.
