Former Smackdown Women’s champion Charlotte Flair will be disappearing from WWE television for the foreseeable future as she has notified WWE that she will be taking time off.
The story was broken by PWInsider earlier today who added that Flair notified the company about her plan this weekend in Los Angeles.
At this time it remains unclear how long she will be out for.
Flair returned to WWE at the end of December following a seven-month absence where she lost the title to Ronda Rousey at Backlash. She regained the title on Smackdown when she returned. She dropped it to Rhea Ripley this past Saturday on night one of WrestleMania.
During her time away from the ring she got married to Andrade El Idolo.
