Change to NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament as Jakara Jackson is out

The NXT Women’s Breakout tournament will have a slight change as Jakara Jackson has not been medically cleared and is being withdrawn from the competition.

The NXT X account announced the news and also added that Brinley Reece will be taking her place.

Reece, real name Breanna Ruggiero, attended a tryout during SummerSlam this year and was signed by the company. She only has a couple of official matches under her belt, both at non-televised live events.

It’s not known why Jackson was pulled from the event. She was set to face Arianna Grace in the tournament and coincidentally enough, Grace was the one who wrestled Reece last week at an NXT house show.
