NXT star Cameron Grimes will be spending some time on the sidelines after he underwent knee surgery according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer.

Grimes, who feuded with Dexter Lumis lately, had been suffering from knee problems for the past several months and decided to undergo surgery to repair the problem once and for all before the situation gets worse.

The 27-year-old North Carolina native is expected to be out of action for around six weeks.
