Butch exits, Pete Dunne returns

Butch is gone and the man known as Pete Dunne is officially back.

On Smackdown last night, The Bruiserweight came out to a big pop from the crowd as Tyler Bate’s partner, and was introduced as Pete Dunne. He donned the typical Dunne ring attire with no hint of any Butch left.

Dunne was more aggressive in his style than when he portrayed Butch as part of the Brawling Brutes.

He has been using the name Butch ever since he got promoted to the main roster in 2022 and themed with Sheamus and Ridge Holland. Sheamus remains out of action for the past few months while Holland is back in NXT.
