Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin successfully defeated Tony D’Angelo and Stacks yesterday on NXT to capture the NXT Tag Team titles, a shot they received after the two won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament.

Stacks ended up receiving both the End of Days from Corbin and a spear from Breakker for the pinfall, with their NXT Tag Team title reign ending after three months.

This is only Baron Corbin’s second title win in his WWE career, following a run with the United States title. It’s his first one in NXT so far since he returned to the brand last year. Corbin previously worked for the black and gold brand between 2012 and 2016.

Breakker is a former two-time NXT champion and it’s his first run with the tag team gold, continuing the legacy of his father and uncle of bringing success in the tag team division.
