Brock Lesnar fails another UFC drug test

Just when you thought it can’t get any worse, Brock Lesnar’s has been shattered as he has recently failed his second drug test, this time an in-competition test administered by the USADA on July 9, the day of his fight against Mark Hunt at UFC 200.

“The UFC organization was notified today that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has informed Brock Lesnar that his in-competition sample collection from July 9, 2016, at UFC 200, has tested positive for the same substance as his previously announced out-of-competition collection on June 28, 2016.”

The LA Times is reporting that the substance that Lesnar popped for was clomiphene. Clomiphene is a PED and it enhances performance. It can increase testosterone by 50%. Jon Jones was also busted for the same drug and one day after Jones was pulled from the show, Lesnar called him “unprofessional” for what he did.

With a second failed test, it’s highly unlikely that Lesnar will step back in the Octagon as a 2 year ban hangs over his head.

Lesnar’s case still hasn’t gone in front of the Nevada State Athletic Commission which will also announce a further ban.
