Bret Hart’s HOF attacker identified as 26-year-old Zachary Madsen

The individual who attacked Bret Hart yesterday at the Hall of Fame ceremony was identified as Zachary Madsen, a 26-year-old from Nebraska according to CBS New York.

The CBS affiliate adds to the story that Madsen caused minor injuries to a security guard who was helping diffuse the situation and punched Bret, but the two-time Hall of Famer did not require any medical attention.

Madsen apparently has been training for mixed martial arts and has a very wicked – and not in the good sense – Twitter account where he frequently tags Triple H and Vince McMahon with crazy messages. His latest tweet, sent on April 4, is now filled with replies from wrestling fans tearing him a new one for what he did.

He was arrested last year for violating a protection order and yesterday he spent the night in a jail cell at the 78th Precinct in Brooklyn where he was charged and was nursing the blows from Travis Browne, Shane McMahon, Davey Boy Smith Jr., Dash Wilder, and many others who whopped his ass following his assault.
