Asuka left in the dark over Raw Women’s title and Becky’s pregnancy

The new Raw Women’s champion Asuka had no idea that she was going to walk out of the WWE Performance Center with the title and she was only told about it before the tapings started.

When the Money In The Bank ladder match was taped, WWE kept quiet about the change in stipulation and none of the women knew that whoever was winning it was going to be crowned the new Raw Women’s champion the next night according to multiple insiders.

And while Asuka knew while she was walking down the ramp that Becky was going to give her the title, she was in the dark that Becky is relinquishing the title because she was pregnant and the reaction everyone saw on TV was 100% as real as it gets.

“Be a mother? Mother?” Asuka said as Becky told her to go be a warrior because she’s going to be a mother. The reaction was one of the most genuine moments ever on WWE television as Becky and Asuka hugged, breaking character, to celebrate the news.
