Ashley Flair, the daughter of two time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, announced yesterday on her Twitter that WWE gave her a new name – Charlotte.

Charlotte is considered as “Flair country” since the Nature Boy hails from the city, so it was only fitting that if there was going to be a name change for the Diva-in-training, it would be that.

“Received my ring name….. CHARLOTTE, baby, CHARLOTTE!!!” she wrote on her Twitter before changing her handle to @MsCharlotteWWE. Her previous Twitter handle was AshFliehrJohnso.

The 26 year old signed a WWE developmental deal in May of this year and is now training at Florida Championship Wrestling.
