Apollo Crews undergoing torn pec surgery

Apollo Crews is currently in Birmingham, Alabama undergoing surgery for a torn pec at Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center.

“A few weeks ago on SmackDown, I tore my pec — an unfortunate situation. Sometimes, you do everything right, but there are just some things beyond your control,” Crews wrote in a post on Instagram. “I’m looking forward to the road ahead, attacking it with a positive and unstoppable mindset.”

The injury took place on the January 24 episode of Smackdown in a match against Johnny Gargano.

A torn pec can take up to eight months to heal properly after surgery.
