Apollo Crews out of the Money In The Bank ladder match

Apollo Crews has been taken out of the Money In The Bank ladder match after an injury angle played out on Raw yesterday.

Crews was wrestling United States champion Andrade when the “injury” took place after jumping off from the top rope. Crews was shown holding his leg and the referee stopped the match. He was later filmed walking out with ice wrapped around his knee.

On WWE.COM, a statement was then posted announcing that Crews will not be participating in the MITB ladder match. “Apollo Crews suffered a knee injury that left him unable to continue in his United States Championship Match with Andrade on Raw. Due to that injury, Crews will no longer be able to compete in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match on Sunday, May 10.”

No replacement has been announced.
