Andrade had second Wellness Program violation during latest WWE stint

Jon Alba of Sports Illustrated is reporting that Andrade had received a Wellness Program violation during his latest WWE stint and was suspended without pay as a result.

This was his second overall Wellness Program violation as the former NXT champion already had one strike from January 2020 where he was suspended for 30 days.

Alba also added that Andrade showed up for a taping of an episode of Smackdown last month and was escorted out of the building since he was suspended.

Andrade was fired from the company a few days ago due to the disciplinary procedures against him although at this point, it’s unclear what exactly happened and what the violation was for. That is in addition to the report that the company tried to get a hold of him for weeks but Andrade ghosted them.

While he did leave AEW on good terms, Andrade also had a disciplinary record there after a backstage fight with Sammy Guevara.

Speaking for the first time since he got released, Andrade wrote on X, “Thank you WWE!!!”
