And the first-ever WWE ESPY Award goes to…

Roman Reigns and his return from leukemia on Monday Night Raw was voted as WWE’s best moment of the year during the ESPYS Awards yesterday night in Los Angeles, California.

The award was handed during the red carpet special with Universal champion Seth Rollins revealing the winner. Reigns later appeared on the awards broadcast and presented an award to a college basketball coach and cancer survivor.

Reigns said that being healthy was the only award that he ever wanted and he’s happy to spread the awareness and story so someone else could use it as hope.

Reigns beat Becky Lynch, Kofi Kingston, and Ronda Rousey to win the first-ever WWE ESPY Award.

The WWE team that appeared at the ESPYS included Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon along with Roman Reigns.
