In a tweet sent out yesterday, former WWE champion Alberto Del Rio posted a screenshot of a text message that reveals what’s wrong with Paige’s neck, seemingly from a doctor or someone who was in charge of giving her the results of her tests.

Del Rio wrote that it’s interesting that they [WWE] say she’s not hurt, referring to the rumors that WWE is refusing to pay for her surgery because she doesn’t need it.

“You have a disc herniation at C6/7 pushing on the exit of the C7 nerve root and causing all your right side upper extremity pain and some of your neck pain,” the text message reads. “Also, you have a lot of wear and tear for your age.”

Paige is determined to go through with surgery and is expected to be out for 6 to 8 more months.
