AJ Styles signs one-year extension deal with WWE

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting through his Select service that AJ Styles has signed a one-year contract extension with WWE, keeping him with the company going in the year 2026.

The 48-year-old joined WWE in 2016 after a long career with TNA and New Japan Pro-Wrestling and signed another long-term deal in February 2022 worth over $3 million per year.

It’s not known till when this one-year extension will run through but recent rumors that he was leaving the company proved to be false.

Styles has an Intercontinental title shot coming up and that will happen once champion Dominik Mysterio is cleared to compete.
