After the furlough comes the future endeavors for WWE producer Lance Storm

Lance Storm has been released from WWE after spending a few months furloughed. The former WCW and WWE Superstar confirmed the news himself on Twitter yesterday.

“For what it’s worth I am now officially unemployed. First time since I left SMW in Nov. 1994. #FutureEndeavors,” Storm wrote.

The ring veteran was unlucky as he had just joined WWE as a producer in December, a few months after he closed his wrestling school in Canada. Just four months later, WWE went on a firing spree and got rid of over 50 WWE Superstars and office workers and furloughed the majority of the producers.

With no live events taking place, only a handful of producers were kept but unfortunately for Storm, he was not one of them.

AEW’s Chris Jericho responded to Storm’s tweet and said that WWE needs to “pull their heads out of their collective asses” and re-hire him, tagging the post with the hashtag #LanceIsAGenius.
