Adam Cole makes NXT debut, attacks Drew McIntyre

Right after the credits showed up on screen for NXT Takeover, the fans erupted. No it wasn’t to cheer the new champion, but Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly returned to the ring for a stare down with McIntyre.

Adam Cole, the former Ring of Honor champion, came through the fans and attacked Drew McIntyre with the help of his ROH friends and like a pack of wolves, left McIntyre motionless after a thunderous superkick.

Cole then grabbed the NXT title and stood over McIntyre as fans chanted “Adam Cole, Adam Cole!”

The former three-time ROH champion signed a WWE deal last week.
