3:16 Day moves more WrestleMania 42 tickets at a discounted price

Ticket tracking service @WrestleTix is reporting that WWE moved almost 4,000 more tickets for WrestleMania during their 3:16 Day with 31.6% discounts on each ticket.

@WrestleTix reported that 1,905 additional tickets were sold for WrestleMania Saturday while WrestleMania Sunday had 2,217 tickets sold on Monday.

With these numbers, Saturday would be around 39,500 and Sunday stands at 40,500 with four weeks to go.

Tickets are expected to start picking up, with WWE notorious for moving thousands and thousands of tickets in the final week.

Despite having a lower attendance so far than last year, WWE is expected to break the gate record due to higher prices, even taking in consideration the multiple discounts offered throughout the past few months.
