The man who attacked Seth Rollins live on Monday Night Raw was identified as Elisah Spencer, a 24-year-old from Brooklyn according to a NYPD spokesperson. The information was published by ESPN today.

Spencer has been charged with attempted assault and attempted violation of arts and cultural affairs, basically disrupting a live sporting event. Rollins, who suffered swelling to his lip, refused medical attention.

WWE cameras quickly cut away from the action and put a replay to distract viewers from what was happening. It took several referees and security officials to contain the assailant, who speared Rollins after coming in from a blind corner at full force.
