Despite suggestions that 205 Live will be integrated more with NXT, WWE today announced that the Cruiserweight show will be moving to Friday nights at 10PM ET on the WWE Network. The live tapings will take place immediately following the conclusion of Friday Night Smackdown on FOX.
The NXT writing crew will be taking over the 205 Live show now and the Cruiserweight title and 205 Live Superstars will also be eventually appearing on NXT moving forward.
There were rumors that 205 Live would move to Full Sail University to tape following the live NXT episode of USA Network but for now WWE has opted to keep 205 Live tapings tag teamed with Smackdown.
