Saudi’s Turki Alalshikh says WrestleMania 43 is coming to Saudi Arabia

In a news that might surprise some but was largely expected, Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority Chairman Turki Alalshikh let the cat out of the bag early and announced that WrestleMania 43 is going to take place in Saudi Arabia in 2027.

This will be the first WrestleMania outside North America in history and is a major blow to London for missing out on bringing the show to Wembley Stadium.

The Saudis are reportedly paying a sum in the region of $100 million as a site fee which would trump any other site fee in WWE history by no comparison.

An official announcement, including Raw, Smackdown, and other weekend events coming to Saudi, is expected very soon.

No exact location of where the show will be was announced but that is expected to be revealed with the official WWE announcement.
