The TNA Emergence special event had its first two matches announced last night during Impact.

TNA World champion Trick Williams will be defending his title against former TNA X Division and World champion Moose. Moose pinned Williams in a tag team match last night as he teamed with Eddie Edwards against the champ and AJ Francis, earning himself a title match.

The second match announced was new X Division champion Leon Slater taking on Cedric Alexander. The two were involved in a three-way match yesterday, a match which also involved Jason Hotch. Slater won the match, pinning Hotch.

Emergence takes place on Friday, August 15 live from the Chesapeake Arena in Baltimore, Maryland and streams exclusively on the TNA+ streaming service.
