POP TV to re-air Impact tonight after technical difficulties during “live” broadcast

While TNA managed to survive the weekend after Billy Corgan came to the rescue with an injection of cash, their Impact broadcast on POP TV last night wasn’t so lucky as technical issues from POP TV’s side caused several problems.

Impact is not really live whenever it is advertised as live as the show is taped a few hours before. TNA successfully beamed the show back to POP TV headquarters, located in Atlanta, fully edited and in time but what seems to be weather issues prevented POP TV from relaying the broadcast via satellite to cable and satellite providers. Instead, several commercials and blank screens aired in Impact’s time slot.

“We apologize for the technical difficulty. Please stay with us. We will be airing the entire #ImpactWrestling event,” a tweet from POP read while the whole mess was going on.

Eventually the show did air but only around 11PM and POP TV has promised to replay yesterday’s broadcast tonight at 9PM. Last night’s broadcast aired delayed without commercials.
