The TNA World title will be defended in a one-hour iron man match at the upcoming Emergence special event on TNA+.

The match will see champ Nic Nemeth defend his gold against former champion Josh Alexander and it was announced following last night’s Impact where the two went to a 30-minute time-limit draw.

Nemeth has been champion since July’s Slammiversary pay-per-view while Alexander hasn’t held the title since March of last year when he had to vacate the title due to a torn triceps.

Emergence will air on Friday, August 30 from the Old Forester’s Paristown Hall in Louisville, Kentucky.
