Mike Santana goes AWOL from TNA following world title loss

PWInsider.com is reporting that Mike Santana is not in the building yet for the Turning Point TNA+ event set for tonight following his TNA World title loss yesterday to Frankie Kazarian.

The site also adds that Santana missed the meet and greet session that followed yesterday’s live Impact and has also failed to respond to calls or text messages from TNA.

Santana surprisingly lost the TNA title just a month after he won it at Bound For Glory after spending months chasing the title. He had just defended the title against Ryan Nemeth on the show when NXT stars interfered, causing the DQ win. Kazarian then cashed in his Call Your Shot trophy and beat him with a roll-up.

Santana was supposed to team up with Steve Maclin tonight to take on Frankie Kazarian and Nic Nemeth in a tag team match.
