Matt Hardy and Private Party show up on Impact, earn Tag Team title shot

Former Impact champ Matt Hardy returned to the promotion last night on AXS TV and brought with him Private Party as the partnership between AEW and Impact continues.

Hardy and Private Party showed up at the beginning of the show to interrupt a segment between The Good Brothers, Chris Sabin, and James Storm. Hardy said Private Party were there for a warm up match for tomorrow’s Dynamite. The match ended up being the AEW tag team against Chris Sabin and James Storm with the winner earning an Impact Wrestling Tag Team title shot.

Thanks to distraction from Matt and AEW coach Jerry Lynn, Private Party won the match and a future title shot. This was the main event of the post-Hard To Kill pay-per-view Impact and Private Party, Sabin and Storm, and The Good Brothers ended the show with a big brawl.
