Ethan Page says he was lied to and disrespected by Impact Wrestling

Ethan Page, who is no longer with Impact Wrestling, expressed his disappointment in his match against Karate Man at the Hard To Kill pay-per-view this past Saturday, saying he was lied to and disrespected by Impact Wrestling.

“I’m so embarrassed with how IMPACT! lazily edited that segment last night & forced it to be a joke. I felt the thought of the same guys fighting each other was comedy enough & the more serious we took it the better the reaction would be. But cuz I left the company, they lied to my face & just did what they wanted the whole time,” Page wrote, apologizing to fans who paid for the pay-per-view and felt cheated.

Page said that he had zero control over creative or the final product and Impact refused to send it over to him beforehand to see it, so he saw the whole thing go down for the first time like all the fans. He said that he was surrounded by family when watching the show and all were “scratching their heads at that high school project level delivery on a PPV.”

He continued saying that he didn’t event want to have Karate Man on television and wanted it solely for his YouTube channel but they have no say in the show.

“Breaks my heart this company refuses to respect its talent or its fan base on a regular basis. I tried. Oh well! Life goes on. That door is closed. Now let’s focus on what’s next. Hope you’re all well. I love all of you for supporting me & helping promote my projects,” he wrote.
