Braxton Sutter departs Impact Wrestling

Impact Wrestling star Braxton Sutter announced on his Twitter that he has now departed the company.

“My time at @IMPACTWRESTLING is up and I would to extend a HUGE thank you to them. They gave me my first official contract/job as a wrestler at 35yrs old and hired my wife at the same time. I’ll never forget that. It was a great chapter in my life, now onto the next one,” he wrote on Twitter.

The 37-year-old appeared on TNA television for the first time in 2015 during a One Night Only pay-per-view under the Pepper Parks name. It was only in June of 2016 that he signed a deal and used the name Braxton Sutter. Perhaps his most famous angle in Impact Wrestling was the wedding episode with Laurel Van Ness, Maria Kanellis, and Mike Bennett where he ended up dumping Van Ness and going back to Allie. Allie, real name Laura Dennis, is his real-life wife and still works for Impact Wrestling.
