AMC drops teaser believed to be arrival of TNA on network

The TV network AMC dropped a teaser today with just their logo, fans cheering in the background and the date 1.15.26.

The date is a Thursday which is also the day that TNA Impact airs. AMC was reportedly in position to sign a brand new media rights deal with TNA Wrestling in a story published exclusively by Sports Illustrated’s Jon Alba a few weeks ago.

The TV deal would mean the survival of the company at least for the duration of the agreement, and will also allow TNA to perhaps to live every week.

Currently, TNA Impact airs on AXS TV, which is owned by Anthem Sports and Entertainment, the same parent company which owns TNA so they do not get any rights fees for programming.

If this proves to be correct, it would be the first time that the network behind hits such as The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and others jumps in the ring with wrestling programming.
