Aaron Rex departs Impact Wrestling

Aaron Stevens, the man who most recently was known as Aaron Rex announced that he is no longer working for Impact Wrestling.

Rex, who wrestled in WWE as Damien Sandow, joined TNA in August 2016 and then disappeared for a month in December before resurfacing in January of this year using a new Liberace-inspired gimmick, wearing a fur coat, rings on his fingers and even lip gloss, along with Rockstar Spud as his manager.

The gimmick didn’t last long though and he revealed on Twitter yesterday that he’s gone from Impact Wrestling. “@ImpactWrestIing was some of the most fun I have had in my career, great company. Just exploring other opportunities,” he said, adding that he never mentioned that he retired so those rumors are incorrect.
