A look at the 2017 Impact Wrestling viewership data

For the year 2017, Impact Wrestling on POP did an average of 282,750 viewers, down from the 2016 average of 310,990 viewers.

It was not particularly a great year for the company television-wise even though they changed ownership and brought in new people to run things. Impact only did more than 350,000 viewers just once in 2017, versus the 12 times in 2016. Crossing the 300,000 viewer mark was also a tough task, with Impact only doing it 17 times in 2017 while they did it 36 times in 2016.

The July 13 episode was the most-watched Impact episode of the year 2017, coming in with 374,000 viewers. That episode was dominated with the angle between Alberto El Patron, LAX, and Bobby Lashley. The episode of the previous week from July 6 came in second as the most-watched with 345,000 viewers.

The December 14 episode of Impact was the least-watched of the whole year and that particular episode ran head-to-head with WWE’s Tribute to the Troops. The Thanksgiving episode did 169,000, coming in as the second least-watched show of the year.
