Former WWE Vice President of Talent Development Canyon Ceman wrote an update on his personal LinkedIn page to say thank you and goodbye to WWE.
Ceman, who was fired from WWE last year in July, said that he was grateful to WWE for an adventurous almost 10-year run where he set to execute the vision of Triple H, who he called a “visionary leader with world class creativity and discipline, and a good human.”
He said he was proud of the efforts they made at worldwide recruitment, their role in women’s empowerment in WWE, culture of respect built at the Performance Center, and all the stories created by the Superstars of NXT.
Ceman also gave props to Matt Bloom, Shawn Michaels, Sara Amato, Robbie Brooks, Steve Corino, Norman Smiley, Terry Taylor, Ryan Katz, Jeremy Borash, Sean Hayes, Malissa Lappas, William Regal, as well as the medical and creative team down in Orlando.
“The performance art of pro wrestling is worthy of respect… the more you learn the more impressed you become with all that it requires,” Ceman wrote, adding that it was an honor for him to work with all the stars who are “among the hardest working and most passionate creative athletes” he has ever been around.

“Most relationships nowadays with lawyers and publicly traded companies are at the general counsel level,” McDevitt said. “Outside lawyers work with the general counsel of the company and never with the CEO or chairman of the board.
He said that his relationship is different as he deals directly with Vince.
“It always has been. It always will be. That’s kind of a unique relationship in the landscape of the law these days for the outside counsel to have that sort of direct relationship.”
McDevitt joked that he’s been telling McMahon that he wants to retire but obviously that’s not news Vince wants to hear.

Former NXT UK champion Walter changed his in-ring name and will now be going by Gunther. The change was announced by Walter himself last night after he defeated Roderick Strong in the main event of NXT.

Originally, WWE trademarked the name Gunther Stark last week with the United States Patent and Trademark Office but that name is also of a Commander of the U-740 u-boat of Nazi Germany’s Kriegsmarine. After some backlash online, it looks like WWE dropped the Stark name and gave the Austrian a first name only.
The 34-year-old, whose real name is Walter, used a variation of his first name as a ring name ever since he started wrestling in 2005.
Former AEW World champion Jon Moxley will be returning to AEW Dynamite tomorrow night live from Washington, DC.
AEW announced his return today on social media, noting that Moxley will be making his first appearance in nearly three months. Moxley has already been advertised to be wrestling this weekend for Game Changer Wrestling in a show airing on pay-per-view titled THE WRLD ON GCW.
Mox has been out of action since October after it was revealed by AEW President Tony Khan that he checked himself into an alcohol rehab facility to deal with addiction. At the time, Moxley was part of the AEW World Title Eliminator tournament and was planned to be in the final match against Bryan Danielson at Full Gear. He was eventually replaced by Miro, who lost the match to Danielson.
Monday Night Raw and NXT will be bumped from USA Network for two weeks due to USA Network airing the Winter Olympics.
NBC Universal has the rights for the Winter Olympics and will be broadcasting all events on NBC, CNBC, USA Network, and Peacock. With the closure of NBC Sports, all sports programming has shifted to USA Network.
According to the scheduled published by NBCOlympics.com, on Monday, February 7, USA will air Freestyle Skiing at 8:30PM while on Tuesday, February 8, they will show Figure Skating at 8:15PM. On Monday, February 14 it’s Figure Skating again at 8:15PM while on Tuesday, February 15 there will be Freestyle Skiing at 8:30PM.
Raw has not been bumped from its Monday night time slot ever since its first run on USA which ended in 2000. USA would pre-empt Raw for the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show and that show was moved to CNBC after Raw returned to USA in 2005.
While nothing has been announced, Raw and NXT are most likely going to switch to SyFy for those two weeks instead.
On their Twitter account, independent promotion Big Time Wrestling are promoting a reunion of The Hardy Boyz for their March show in Webster, Massachusetts.
Matt and Jeff, who will team up for the first time in three years since Matt left WWE, will be part of BTW’s 2022 tour with more dates to be announced. The Webster show will happen on March 12. The last time The Hardy Boyz wrestled as a tag team was in April 2019.
