Latest betting odds for WrestleMania 39 night two

Night one is done but if four hours of WWE WrestleMania action wasn’t enough, we have another full night tonight with night two.

We are presenting the latest odds for the remaining six matches left in the card courtesy of https://utlandskacasino.net/. Remember, these odds are likely to change by the time the show starts so be careful!

Roman Reigns hasn’t been pinned in over 1,200 days but will tonight be the night? For the first time in a very, very long time, Reigns is the underdog in the main event as Cody Rhodes is 11/50 favorite to topple the Tribal Chief who is at 14/5 odds.

Asuka will get a chance to regain the Raw Women’s title as she battles popular champion Bianca Belair. Belair is 3/5 favorite to retain as Asuka, with 6/5 odds, continues her journey to find her first victory at WrestleMania.

Hell In A Cell returns at WrestleMania for the first time since WrestleMania 32 in Dallas as Edge and Finn Balor promise to take each other to hell. Judgment Day’s Finn Balor is currently the favorite with 1/2 odds while the Hall of Famer Edge is 7/5.

Gunther, Sheamus, and Drew McIntyre are in what could be a show stealer match as the three battle in a triple threat match for the Intercontinental title. The Austrian champ is 3/5 favorite to retain the gold while Sheamus is 7/5 and McIntyre is a long shot with 6/1 odds.

Brock Lesnar is looking at taking Omos to suplex city tonight and Lesnar is the favorite so far with odds of 1/3 while the giant Omos is 2/1 to take down the beast.

The eight women involved will have a big task in trying to outdo the men who lit up the stadium last night in the fatal four-way showcase match. Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler are favorites with 3/10 odds while Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are second with 11/4 odds. Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville are 5/1 and Natalya and Shotzi are last with 9/1 odds.

WWE sale expected to be announced tomorrow to Endeavor Group

CNBC is reporting that a WWE sale is likely to be announced tomorrow to Endeavor Group, headed by Ari Emanuel.

The Endeavor Group is also the parent company of the UFC and rumors are that WWE and UFC will be combined in a new publicly traded company.

Under the deal, Endeavor will own 51% of the new company while WWE shareholders will get the remaining 49%. The Endeavor deal gives WWE an enterprise value of $9.3 billion, CNBC said.

As far as executive positions, Emanuel will serve as Chief Executive while Vince McMahon is expected to be Executive Chairman. Endeavor President Mark Shapiro will also work in the same role at the new company and Dana White will remain as President of UFC.

WWE CEO Nick Khan will serve as president of the wrestling side of the business.

Johnny Knxoville hilariously flips fans off after Zayn/Owens win titles

One year ago, Sami Zayn was in a comedy match with Johnny Knoxville at WrestleMania. He even got body slammed by Wee Man and then placed in a mouse trap and lost.

Fast forward a year later, Zayn is one of the hottest acts in WWE and main evented WrestleMania 39 with Kevin Owens and The Usos.

Johnny Knoxville didn’t forget about it and the Jackass star returned to WrestleMania this year, but as a fan. Knoxville was part of the Kickoff show, describing Zayn as a “snake in the grass” and “wolf in a sheep’s clothing.”

Asked if he has buried the hatchet, Knoxville said no, and the only hatchet he wants to bury is one in Zayn’s back!

Needless to say, Knoxville was not happy when Zayn and Owens won the Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles last night and was very vocal about it in the stands, hilariously flipping his middle fingers off to fans who were celebrating.

Maybe this time it will be Zayn and Owens vs Knoxville and Wee Man for the revenge?

Reigns on WWE deal: “It’s the Tribal Chief setup. That’s just the way it is”

In a rare, 20-minute interview with Ariel Helwani for BT Sport, current WWE Undisputed Universal champion Roman Reigns discussed a variety of subjects, including lifting many around him, his historic reign, and his contract.

Reigns said that he takes good care of his body and can see himself doing this till he’s 45, noting that he’s about to turn 38. He said at this pace, and as long as it keeps making sense, he’ll continue, especially if they keep giving him contracts like he has.

“They can all say what they want, every single one of them would take my deal if they could get it but they just can’t get it,” Reigns said regarding his current WWE deal.

He said the deal is only for him and no one can do anything about it.

“Seth would take my deal, he would take my dates,” Reigns added, laughing. “He’d love to get my money but it’s not for him. It’s the Tribal Chief setup. That’s just the way it is.”

Reigns also talked how he’s happy that he elevated The Usos and Solo Sikoa with him during the past several months and how he’s enjoying spending his time in the ring.

His prediction for tonight?

“I don’t lose…” he said, staring at Helwani, before turning his head to the main camera. “Ever.”

Jericho says AEW will “thrive and survive” with or without CM Punk

It’s safe to say, Chris Jericho and CM Punk are not friends.

Last week, Punk called Jericho a liar and a stooge in a now-deleted Instagram post when he was giving his own take on what happened when he returned.

Before Instagramgate, Dave Meltzer of the Observer wrote that Punk was in negotiations to come back to AEW but the former two-time AEW World champion found himself back in the doghouse with his post.

Speaking on The Mark Madden Show, Jericho said that the company will thrive and survive with our without CM Punk and we all have to wait and see what happens next.

When asked about Punk and if they’re friends, Jericho replied, “You know, I’m not, but I wasn’t on Scott Hall’s Christmas card list, or I wasn’t on Eric Bischoff’s Christmas card list,” Jericho said.

“You don’t have to be best friends to coexist, so, to me, that’s not really my wheelhouse. I’m not in charge of that. I’m sure there will be some answers to that pretty quickly, I would assume, either way.”

WWE WrestleMania 39 Pick’em report for Night Two

Hello everybody! It’s @TheMagnumDA with another installment of the PPV Pick’em report – this time, we’re going to continue with NIGHT TWO of WrestleMania 39!! As of right now, Tom and I are all tied up at five points each, and Colin has 4 points. Who will take home the WOPC Championship? Let’s find out!

ON WITH THE PICKS!!

Women’s WrestleMania Showcase – Fatal 4 Way Tag Team Match
Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez vs. Natalya and Shotzi vs. Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler vs. Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville

Showcase Bonus Point: Who gets the winning fall in this match?

Magnum: Even though we missed last night’s Showcase picks, I think we’re all in alignment for tonight. Ronda and Shayna win – Ronda with the winning fall.

Heel Turn Tom: I’m going with Ronda and Shayna (Rousey with the winning fall)

Colin: Same as the men’s match. Zero interest in this one and I feel it will be the bathroom break for many people inside the stadium. I would guess Ronda and Shayna get the win here and go for the titles next (Rousey with the winning fall).

Brock Lesnar vs. Omos

Magnum: I just don’t understand it – if this is Brock’s last WWE match for a while, why would he win? Why does Vegas have him as such a heavy favorite? I don’t buy it, and frankly I don’t have a chance to win this title unless I take some chances. Here’s the first one – Omos wins.

Heel Turn Tom: Brock will F5 the big guy. Lesnar wins.

Colin: This would be cool if Lashley interferes and helps Omos wins and then reunites the Hurt Business. The way this feud has been going though makes me think that Lesnar will get the victory though. I’m ready for Omos to go to suplex city!

WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Bianca Belair (c) vs. Asuka

Magnum: Tough call – Asuka has never won at WrestleMania. This HAS to be her time, right? Maybe…but not tonight. Belair retains.

Heel Turn Tom: I see a new champion with Asuka getting the victory.

Colin: Asuka is still without a win at WrestleMania believe it or not. Belair is a terrific champion and carries that belt like a true superstar. It’s been a long time since Asuka carried some gold so it might be good to freshen things up. New champion Asuka.

WWE Intercontinental Championship – Triple Threat Match
Gunther (c) vs. Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre

Magnum: Gunther is set for bigger and better things – could he become the longest reigning IC champ of all time? I just don’t see it. Sheamus wins the title.

Heel Turn Tom: The Honky-Meter will still be counting with a Gunther win.

Colin: Big meaty men slapping each other over and over and over again. And guess what? We’re going to love it! This could be a show stealer in my opinion. Gunther to retain the title. He needs to keep it for now.

Hell in a Cell
Edge vs. “The Demon” Finn Bálor

Magnum: This is one we’re all in agreement on – Demon Balor gets the biggest win of his career.

Heel Turn Tom: The Demon rarely loses, so I’ll take Balor for the win.

Colin: Oof, still undecided about this one. If this is Edge’s last WrestleMania, does he go out over or does he pass the torch so to speak? Finn would gain more by having this win than Edge. Give me a win for Demon Balor.

Undisputed WWE Universal Championship
Roman Reigns (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. Cody Rhodes

Magnum: I’m all for taking chances, but this is one chance I don’t want to take. Cody’s sights are set on the prize, and he might get a little help along the way…but this is Cody’s match and title to win. I’ll take the American Nightmare.

Heel Turn Tom: This has to be Cody, right. Cody will end the Roman Empire.

Colin: Roman’s reign needs to end tonight. Cody needs to finish his story. There is no other better place to pull the trigger other than tonight. Cody winning the title needs to be the lasting image of WrestleMania 39. Anything else…we riot!!

Okay, that’s going to do it for all of us at the Pick’em report! Enjoy Mania Night Two!!! @TheMagnumDA signing off.

Vince McMahon back with a headset, involved backstage at Mania

Vince McMahon, in his second WWE live event back since July, not only was at Gorilla position during the whole WrestleMania, but was even wearing a headset and involved.

Multiple insiders reported that Vince was doing the usual Vince things but was not in charge of running the show as that responsibility still fell in the hands of his son-in-law Paul Levesque.

But this was the first time that McMahon was actively involved in a production of a show since he returned. When he showed up at the Raw in Boston last month, Vince did sit at Gorilla as well but did not interfere at all with the show.

WWE CEO Nick Khan said during media appearances last week that Vince was still not involved in the creative-side of WWE.

McMahon was also at the Hall of Fame ceremony and posed with the new inductees sporting his very-obvious dyed brown hair and a mustache.

Rhea Ripley becomes grand slam champion at 26 years old

Rhea Ripley made history last night becoming a grand slam champion, winning her fifth different WWE title in her short career.

At 26 years old, Ripley is now an NXT UK, NXT, RAW, Smackdown and Tag Team champion, and she did it all in the span of five years after joining the NXT UK brand in 2018. It’s an impressive achievement that was capped off with a WrestleMania co-main event victory last night against Charlotte Flair to win the Smackdown Women’s title.

Interviewed by Ryan Satin for FOX after the match, Ripley said she has so many emotions that she can’t put them into words at the moment. “It’s a wild ride,” Ripley said.

Ripley said that moving away from Australia at the age of 20, traveling the world to join WWE and living the dream was worth every sacrifice and now the biggest nightmare is passing through the TSA security checkpoints in airports with the title!

Ripley joked that she will retire after she loses her title which she envisions it might happen in 10 years or so.

“Sorry Roman, I’m breaking your streak,” she said while looking at the camera!

Triple H congratulated Ripley following her win, writing, “A championship battle for the ages. Welcome to the mountain top.”

Asuka still on the hunt for first win at WrestleMania

The Empress of Tomorrow is one of the most gifted wrestlers in the world today. Her excellent Japan career, followed by an undefeated NXT career speak for themselves. She won titles everywhere but Asuka still has not managed to do one thing.

Win at WrestleMania.

This will be Asuka’s fifth WrestleMania match since being called up to the main roster and there’s an “L” in that win/loss record in every single one of them.

At WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans, Asuka lost to Charlotte Flair, becoming the first woman to win the Royal Rumble and not successfully win the title a few months later. A year later, she was part of the women’s battle royal on the pre-show and she was eliminated during the match. At WrestleMania 36 in the empty WWE Performance Center, she teamed up with Kairi Sane but lost to Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross who won the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles. And last year at WrestleMania 37 it was another bad night at the office as Asuka lost the Raw Women’s title to Rhea Ripley.

Tonight, the Japanese star gets another crack at winning the Raw Women’s title when she takes on champion Bianca Belair. Will it be a fifth successive WrestleMania defeat or will she finally break the losing streak and walk out with the title?

Over 1,200 days without a pinfall loss, will Roman’s reign come to an end tonight?

It has been over 1,200 days since Roman Reigns was last pinned in a WWE ring. Yes. That is over three long years.

And the last man to do it? Baron Corbin, believe it or not. It was at the TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view in December 2019 when that happened. Granted, Corbin had some assistance in the forms of Dolph Ziggler and The Revival, but a pin is a pin and that was Reigns’ last registered three-count against him.

Reigns has gone through 150 matches since then, escaping unscratched in every single one of them but tonight he meets Cody Rhodes, the man on the rise and hellbent on becoming the new Undisputed WWE Universal champion.

In another fun fact, Roman Reigns will become the only person in WrestleMania history to main event the show while defending his title(s) in the same reign. Roman beat Edge and Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 37 and Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 to unify the titles. No other man has managed that accomplishment and it might be a very, very long time before someone else pulls it off.

It’s time to pull the trigger: from Tribal Chief to American Nightmare

Roman Reigns’ reign as Undisputed WWE champion has been historic in more ways than one. It’s no secret that the COVID-19 pandemic worked wonders for Roman, and no, not because he went away for a bit, but because when there were no fans in arenas, he managed to create his Tribal Chief character with no fans heckling him.

When fans returned to arenas, everyone acknowledged his greatness. Flanked by the incredible Paul Heyman, The Usos, and later by Solo Sikoa, The Bloodline was the best thing going for WWE for the past year or so. Everyone threw those ones in the air, every city acknowledged the head of the table.

Not pinned for over 1,200 days and headlining the third straight WrestleMania defending the titles in the same reign is truly a massive achievement.

But all good things must come to an end. And on WrestleMania Sunday, it’s the best time for his historic reign to come to an end.

There have been other occasions were fans thought for sure he was going to lose. Against Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle would have been a great feel-good moment. Drew came close, but the correct winner walked out with the title. Sami Zayn at Elimination Chamber would have been out of this world, but the correct winner walked out with the title.

It’s all about the big picture. Granted, WWE is not the best when it comes to wrestlers winning in their hometown, so the previous results should have been somewhat predictable.

But with Cody Rhodes, WWE has their next big thing.

Rewind 14 months and we have a totally different picture in WWE. And AEW. Cody Rhodes was wrestling in the company he co-founded without a contract. No one believed he would leave. And oh boy did he leave. He came back to WWE with a mission, to become the first Rhodes to win the big one.

Cody had a love/hate relationship with the AEW audience. It started love/love, but it didn’t take long to turn into love/hate. He loved them, but they hated him. He wasn’t a heel but was getting booed. For whatever reason, Cody decided it was best to pack his bags and go back to the company he fled from years earlier.

It worked. His return at WrestleMania was magical. Fans welcomed the man who destroyed a throne and badmouthed WWE at every opportunity with open arms. He was the face. Fans treated him as the big babyface. And you could see that he loved it during the emotional interviews that followed.

It’s what he wanted all along from the AEW fans but couldn’t get it. Over behind enemy lines, WWE fans forgave the American Nightmare and cheered for him all the way. He returned that love by “doing the work” as he says. His injury at Hell In A Cell last year, wrestling with a horrific torn pec, gained him a ton of extra points in the eyes of WWE fans and WWE management, even after a hot start and a long spell injured, still believed in him. His merchandise sales are a big indicator of how over and loved Cody Rhodes is among the WWE Universe.

His return and win at the Royal Rumble was as predictable as ever. Predictable isn’t bad when things make sense. Cody Rhodes winning the Rumble made sense. I firmly believe that had he not injured himself, he would have won the Money In The Bank in Las Vegas. But as faith would have it, “the story” had an alternate ending for him.

Rhodes now has the chance of dethroning the Tribal Chief at the same event that he made his surprise return to last year. The biggest stage of them all. The show of shows. The Super Bowl of professional wrestling. WrestleMania. There’s no better place where to win the WWE championship: in the main event of WrestleMania.

WWE now has to pull the trigger on this one. Yes, Roman’s historic run was amazing, but it’s time to freshen things up. It’s time for WWE to get a nightmare in the form of the American one, Cody Rhodes.

There will be many shocked faces if Roman walks out of SoFi Stadium with his Undisputed WWE Universal title.

This whole build for Cody Rhodes deserves only one ending: #AndNew.

The Rock records video message for WWE fans and Superstars for WrestleMania

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recorded a four-and-a-half minute video addressed to the WWE Universe, WWE Superstars and WWE employees, congratulating them on WrestleMania and to wish everyone good luck.

Johnson mentioned that his daughter Simone made her NXT debut earlier in the day and said that it was a big morning for everyone involved in NXT. He told her that he’s very proud of her and to keep up her great work.

Shifting gears to WrestleMania, Johnson said that he’s looking forward to see the main event between his cousin Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. He said that he’s proud of Jimmy, Jey, and Solo and then teased something for the future.

“And who knows? Maybe…just maybe, down the road, I’ll see you in person,” he said.

The Rock also talked about Cody Rhodes, who he said has tremendous love and respect for. He said that the two grew up together and would hang at each others’ homes when they were kids. He told Cody that his journey was “incredibly inspiring” to not only the fans, but also to his peers and to him as well.

Johnson told the WWE Superstars to go have some “f*cking fun” and connect with the audience and then thanked the WWE crew who works tirelessly behind the scenes.

He was going to end his video with “If ya smell…” but then said he has to save it for another time.

Bad Bunny and Pat McAfee make unadvertised appearances at WrestleMania

Bad Bunny and Pat McAfee returned to WWE at WrestleMania, making unadvertised appearances.

Bad Bunny was introduced to the crowd before the Rey vs Dominik Mysterio match to a thunderous pop from the international crowd. Bunny joined the Spanish commentary team and then helped Rey in the match by preventing Dominik from using a steel chain on his dad.

Bad Bunny will be hosting the Backlash premium live event next month in Puerto Rico. His last appearance was at last year’s Royal Rumble where he was eliminated by Brock Lesnar.

Pat McAfee also made a surprise return and participated in a match against The Miz. Miz was out with co-host Snoop Dogg and said no one answered his open challenge because he’s awesome.

Out came McAfee, who said he was wearing his WrestleMania tank top and challenged Miz to an impromptu match. He said no, but Snoop Dogg made it official.

The match only lasted around four minutes and McAfee won after some assist from San Francisco 49ers’ tight end George Kittle.

Earlier in the week, WWE CEO Nick Khan said that they had no plans for McAfee to be at WrestleMania.

Ripley, Owens and Zayn win titles at WrestleMania Saturday

Rhea Ripley, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn walked out of SoFi Stadium with extra baggage as all of them became new champions at WrestleMania Saturday.

Ripley took out Charlotte Flair in the co-main event of the night, defeating Flair with the Rip Tide finisher off the top rope. The Judgment Day member was the heavy favorite with the crowd and fans popped big when she got the three-count.

Meanwhile, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn became the new Undisputed WWE Tag Team champions when they defeated The Usos in the main event. This ends The Usos’ historic 622-day reign as champions.

It was Zayn who delivered three Helluva Kicks on Jey Uso to end the match and as you can expect, the fans went absolutely ballistic when the referee hit the third count.

Earlier in the night, Austin Theory retained his United States title after he beat John Cena in the opening match of the night.

WrestleMania 39 night one results

Here are the results from WrestleMania 39 night one which took place from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Austin Theory defeated John Cena to retain the United States title; The Street Profits defeated Alpha Academy, The Viking Raiders, and Braun Strowman and Ricochet in a fatal four-way tag team match; Seth Rollins defeated Logan Paul; Becky Lynch, Lita, and Trish Stratus defeated Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY in a six-woman tag team match; Rey Mysterio defeated Dominik Mysterio; Rhea Ripley defeated Charlotte Flair to become the new Smackdown Women’s champion; Pat McAfee defeated The Miz; Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defeated The Usos to become the new Undisputed WWE Tag Team champions.

Early betting odds for WrestleMania 39 night two

Night one of WrestleMania 39 is over but that is just half the fun. Night two takes place tomorrow night and we have the early betting odds for the matches on the card.

We will update these numbers tomorrow with the latest odds so please remember, bet carefully if you are using real money and in the meantime, you can also play some poker at https://trustedcasinos360.com/poker/

Roman Reigns finds himself in some unfamiliar territory as he is the underdog walking into his match against Cody Rhodes. Everyone is expecting Cody to win, and the odds reflect that, with Rhodes at 21/50 favorite while the undisputed champ is 33/20 to retain.

Will Asuka get her first WrestleMania win? Oddsmakers don’t think so as Bianca Belair is favorite 7/10 to retain her Raw Women’s title while the Empress is 1/1.

The Intercontinental title is being defended in a triple threat match but champion Gunther remains the favorite to retain with odds of 17/20 while his opponents, Sheamus and Drew McIntyre, are 6/5 and 9/2 respectively in their odds.

Brock Lesnar is not often the underdog in his matches, unless it involves Roman Reigns, and the beast is back being favorite in his match against Omos. Lesnar is currently 1/9 to win while Omos is 17/4 for the upset.

It’s going to be hell in a cell for Edge and Finn Balor. Will we see Brood Edge vs Demon Balor? Let’s hope so! Balor is currently the favorite with 7/10 odds while Edge is 1/1 in what could be his final WrestleMania match.

We currently have no odds for the women’s fatal four-way showcase match but will provide the latest odds for this match if they are available tomorrow.

Owens/Zayn vs The Usos to headline WrestleMania Saturday

For the first time since WrestleMania I, a tag team match will headline WrestleMania as Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn take on The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles. The news of night one main event was broken by Dave Meltzer.

It is also the first time ever that a tag team title match has headlined WrestleMania.

Leading up to the show, the Smackdown Women’s title match between Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley was the top contender to headline WrestleMania Saturday. With last year the women missing out on main eventing a night, it was felt that that this year a women’s match should be the top billing of night one.

But the tag team match was definitely gaining more interest from a storyline perspective and it made more sense to have that headline the show.

This will be Kevin Owen’s second Mania main event and the first for Sami Zayn and The Usos.

WWE WrestleMania 39 Pick’em report for Night One

Hello everybody! It’s @TheMagnumDA and tonight is Night One of the WrestleMania 39 Pick’em report!! Tonight, myself, Colin and Heel Turn Tom will square off in a Triple Threat to decide who will be the WOPC Champion. We’ll do an aggregate of two nights – the highest score at the end of Sunday night will be the Champion! Will Colin survive and leave WrestleMania as WOPC Champion? Let’s find out!

ON WITH THE PICKS!

WWE United States Championship
Austin Theory (c) vs. John Cena

Magnum: I am surprised that this is going to open the show, but I tell ya…I guess this means WrestleMania 39 is going to open with a stunning upset. Give me Theory to stun the world and defeat John Cena.

Heel Turn Tom: Austin Theory will be the winner.

Colin: Wow, hmm… I’m going to go for a Cena win. Why? Because I think someone new will debut on Monday and he’ll beat him for the title then. That’s my guess. Theory will eventually get revenge, maybe at SummerSlam. Don’t think this is a one-and-done between Cena and Theory.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. Logan Paul

Magnum: I think this will be one hell of an athletic showcase…but in the end, Rollins is going to take the W.

Heel Turn Tom: I feel like they will let the outsider get a Wrestlemania moment. Logan Paul for a victory with some kind of shenanigans.

Colin: Seth is so over and deserves to win tonight. It would be a grave mistake if Paul wins here. It’s going to be a great match regardless and LA will be ready to sing along.

Trish Stratus, Lita, and Becky Lynch vs. Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky)

Magnum: I am inclined to believe that if Trish turns on anyone, it will come after the match. As for the match itself? Give me Becky and the HOFers.

Heel Turn Tom: This has to be Trish, Lita, and Becky.

Colin: This can go both ways: The faces win clean and then someone turns heel, or someone turns heel during the match and then turns afterward. I’m gonna go with the first one (Becky, Lita, and Trish win) and Trish turns on Becky. SummerSlam one-on-one. Book it!

Men’s WrestleMania Showcase – Fatal 4 Way Tag Team Match
Braun Strowman and Ricochet vs. The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) vs. Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis) vs. The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar w/Valhalla)

Showcase Bonus Question: Who gets the winning fall in this match?

Magnum: I have a feeling that we’re all going to be in agreement here – I’ll take Braun and Ricochet, with Ricochet getting the fall.

Heel Turn Tom: I predict Strowman and Ricochet to win. This time Strowman’s partner is not a random kid. Ricochet with the winning fall.

Colin: This is one match the card could have done without. It’s really only there to get all those people on the show. Not really invested in it. If I had to pick, Strowman and Ricochet (Ricochet with the winning fall).

Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio

Magnum: This has quickly become one of the matches I look forward to the most at Night One. I loved Rey’s speech last night – he deserves to be in the HOF. As for tonight, this would likely be the biggest win of Dom’s life…so let’s go with Dom to win.

Heel Turn Tom: I feel like Rey needs to get the win.

Colin: Wouldn’t it be great if Dom comes out with Eddie’s lowrider? Imagine the heat! This should be good and just like Cena vs Theory, this won’t be one match. I really think Rey’s mission right now is to put over his son big time and I think Dom will get the W.

WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship
Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Rhea Ripley

Magnum: This is going to be a fantastic match, and likely even better than the match at WrestleMania 36. Rhea’s time has finally come. This is going to be the biggest win of her career. Rhea wins the title in a tremendous back-and-forth affair.

Heel Turn Tom: I feel like Mami is going to get the win. Rhea is the new champ.

Colin: Rhea already jobbed to Charlotte a few years ago, losing her NXT title. I think it’s time that the roles are reversed. Charlotte doesn’t really need the title, let’s be honest. It will do wonders for Ripley though. Not sure how it will work though since Ripley is on Raw and the title is for Smackdown. Maybe she’ll pull double duty. #AndNew

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship
The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) (c) vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn

Magnum: Well, we knew it’d come to this. I am very much looking forward to this. Sami deserves a giant WrestleMania win – I’ll take Sami and KO to win the titles.

Heel Turn Tom: If Owens and Zayn doesn’t win, then we riot.

Colin: This will be amazing. This is the night The Usos lose their titles. And the fans will love it. I’m just waiting to see who turns on who first though, will it be Kevin or Sami? You know it’s going to happen…again! Sami and KO win – New champions!

Well there you have it! See you tomorrow night for the Pick’em report for NIGHT TWO of WrestleMania 39! @TheMagnumDA signing off.

Three NXT titles swap hands at Stand & Deliver

Three NXT titles swapped hands at NXT Stand & Deliver earlier today at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Indi Hartwell won a six-woman ladder match to become the new NXT Women’s champion, a match which had tons of high spots and was received very well by the crowd. Hartwell was selling a leg injury and couldn’t get up the ladder herself but she got an assist from none other than Dexter Lumia, who came from behind, lifted her on his shoulder, climbed the ladder with her and then she unhooked to win.

Hartwell – and Lumis – then appeared to celebrate with Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae following his unsanctioned match victory against Grayson Waller.

Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn also got their hands on the NXT Women’s Tag Team championships, their first titles under the NXT brand. Fyre and Dawn ended Fallon Henley’s and Kiana James’ reign after just 56 days.

And then, decked in LA Lakers colors, Carmelo Hayes dethroned Bron Breakker to become the new NXT champion. Hayes was the clear favorite inside the arena and Breakker was even booed multiple times. The former NXT North American champion won the match after he hit the Nothing But Net finishing move.

After the match, Breakker took the NXT title from the referee and handed it over to Hayes, raising his arms as well in a passing of the torch moment.
