WWE will be part of Advertising Week in New York this week and will have a panel on Thursday, October 19.
Held at The Penn District on The Great Minds Stage starting at 12:50PM, the WWE panel will feature Peter Rosenberg as the host with Senior Vice President and Head of Global Sales and Partnerships Craig Stimmel along with WWE Superstars Bianca Belair and LA Knight.
While Belair is a regular at WWE events such as this, the inclusion of LA Knight shows how over he is right now with the audience. Belair was also at the TKO launch at the New York Stock Exchange last month.
Roman Reigns wrestled his first match in 69 days this weekend at a rare non-televised live event in Kansas City, Missouri.
This was Reigns’ first time in the ring since his SummerSlam 2023 match against his cousin Jey Uso.
The Tribal Chief wrestled an old nemesis – Sami Zayn – in the main event of the show and won after a spear thanks to the usual interference from Solo Sikoa. Jimmy Uso also interfered in the match and after it was all over, all three continued their beatdown on the Canadian.
Cue in LA Knight’s music and the popular WWE Superstar came out to clean house, hitting a BFT on Solo, Jimmy, and Roman as well. Knight then took the mic and told a pissed off Roman that he’s going to call him champ and chief soon.
Roman Reigns is expected to take on LA Knight at the upcoming Crown Jewel premium live event.
Strength training is a type of exercise that involves lifting weights to build muscle and strength. It is a great way to improve your overall fitness and health, and it can help you to achieve a variety of fitness goals, such as:
Losing weight
Building muscle
Improving athletic performance
Preventing injuries
There are many different methods of strength training, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. Here are five of the most popular methods:
1. Full body training
Full body training is a type of strength training that involves working all of the major muscle groups in a single workout. This method is a great way to build muscle and strength quickly, and it is also a time-efficient way to train.
2. Split training
Split training is a type of strength training that involves working different muscle groups on different days. This method can be a good option for people who want to focus on specific muscle groups or who want to train more frequently.
3. Circuit training
Circuit training is a type of strength training that involves performing a series of exercises back-to-back with little or no rest in between. This method is a great way to get a full-body workout in a short amount of time.
4. High-intensity interval training (HIIT)
HIIT is a type of strength training that involves alternating between short bursts of high-intensity exercise and periods of rest. This method is a great way to burn calories and build muscle quickly.
5. Progressive overload
Progressive overload is a principle of strength training that involves gradually increasing the weight or intensity of your workouts over time. This principle is essential for continued progress in strength training.
Which method is right for you?
The best method of strength training for you will depend on your fitness goals, experience level, and schedule. If you are new to strength training, it is a good idea to start with a full body training program. As you gain experience, you can experiment with different methods to find one that works best for you.
Tracking your progress
Tracking your progress is an important part of strength training. It can help you to see how you are improving over time and to make adjustments to your training program as needed. There are a number of different ways to track your progress, such as keeping a journal, using a fitness tracker, or using a strength training app.
Recommendation for the Fitonist app
If you are looking for a great way to track your strength training progress, I recommend using the Fitonist app. Fitonist is a comprehensive strength training app that provides users with everything they need to track their progress, including:
A journal
A fitness tracker
A strength training program
I have personally used Fitonist and I found it to be a great resource for tracking my strength training progress. The journal is easy to use, and the fitness tracker is accurate. The strength training program is well-designed and it has helped me to improve my strength and fitness. I would definitely recommend Fitonist to anyone who is looking for a great way to track their strength training progress.
Brian Pillman Jr started working the NXT Florida loop non-televised live events this past weekend, wrestling under his new name of Lexis King.
He was unveiled on NXT TV this past Tuesday in an awesome promo where he decided he doesn’t want to be anyone’s “junior” and wants to honor the name of the person who raised him instead.
He wrestled Brooks Jensen on the Friday show and then Riley Osborne on the Saturday show, winning both matches. He is now sporting a hairstyle similar to that of his late father.
The 30-year-old signed a WWE deal in August, a month after his AEW contract expired and was not renewed.
In a post on X, Cody Rhodes said that he made one more decision while he was NXT General Manager for a day this past Tuesday, and that decision will be revealed on the next episode of the show.
“Last Tuesday before the clock struck midnight I made one final decision as Guest @WWENXT GM. Find out what that decision was this Tuesday on NXT! 8/7c on @USANetwork,” Cody wrote.
Rhodes kicked off the biggest NXT show ever this past Tuesday and announced the return of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and the Men’s Breakout tournament.
The opening segment drew nearly 1 million viewers.
Minutes after he defeated Dillon Danis via disqualification yesterday at a packed AO Arena in Manchester, Logan Paul announced that he is going back to the WWE.
Paul told Ariel Helwani in the middle of the ring that this is a hobby for him but his true passion is being a WWE Superstar.
“I got my eye on something and I got my eye on someone,” a fired up Paul said. “I’m an American boy and I want that U.S. title. Rey Mysterio, I already beat you once brother, and I’m coming for that U.S. championship. Let’s go!”
Rey Mysterio reacted to the announcement on X, writing, “Did @loganpaul just call me out? I’m not hard to find homie. Every Friday Night on SmackDown.”
Paul and Danis had a six-round boxing match before it was called off after Danis went full MMA on Paul, causing a DQ and a massive WWE-style brawl.
AEW Collision tonight comes to us from the Huntington Center in Toldeo, OH. After last week drawing 353,000 & 0.09 in the 18-49 demo.
Speaking of ratings, there’s a minute-by-minute breakdown of Tuesday’s fun on the Torch. Interesting reading.
*****
Schiavone introduced the show along with Nigel and Kevin Kelly. Adam Copeland’s music hit to a huge pop. Kelly mentioned that ‘new era’ thing they were pushing; apparently he’s the only one who remembers.
Big smile from the former Edge, crowd going crazy for him – loud ‘Adam’ chants. He said he needed to address Christian Cage, Cage’s music immediately interrupted. A big dude in a suit and some security guys came first, Cage followed with Saurus and Boy Wonder. The whole crew hit the ring, Copeland surrounded, Cage perched on the top buckle with a mic, all his goons between he and the babyface.
The boos were immediate. Cage said the goons were for Copeland’s protection, not his and offered Copeland a way out, he could just leave right now. Cause if he hangs around in AEW, he’ll be known for nothing like the people in Ohio. He’s also had the BCC banned from the arena since he wants to have ‘a straight up fight’ with Bryan Danielson. Since he – Cage – is the best wrestler in the world. More boos.
Danielson interrupted from the back – this crowd is fired up, loud ‘Yes!’ chants. He’s glad Cage wants a fair fight, cause Saurus and Wayne are banned from ringside (crowd cheered, wouldn’t be so fast to, that stip’s been proven meaningless this year – any repercussions for Ruby from Tuesday?). They’ll find out who deserves to be TNT champ.
Cue the new tag champs: Starks basically called them all old and said they’re in his way (have to be at least a few AEW fans nodding along at that, maybe they’ve already left?). He has no respect for the babyfaces, but does for Cage since he’s also a champ. Starks went and stood behind the security goons too.
He began ripping the faces for ‘staring’, Copeland said ‘It’s your silk slacks dumbass’, Starks said it’s too bad he didn’t take any style from ‘the other place’. ‘And you took it from the Rock, good job’, Copeland’s reply. (the Rock always dressed in slacks, silk shirt, sunglasses – Starks’ exact look here). Then called him a ‘vanilla midget version’ (you can call Starks lots of things, vanilla’s not one of them, he’s anything but bland).
Starks said that remark ‘really sent me over the Edge’. Then played on the lyrics to Big Poppa about getting with his friends and ‘doing the thing right now’. FTR out (apparently that was all an angle last week), Cash spat at Starks, crowd hot for them too. He took the mic to say they were offered the night off last week due to being banged up – but all of them are banged up all the time – so they took the match, and obviously that was a mistake.
But they don’t want a hand out, they’ll earn their way back to the titles (so poss #1 cont match w Bucks?). Danielson said all this talk about fighting had fired him up, why don’t he and Cage do their match ‘right! now!’? A brawl ensued, the faces cleared the ring, running through all the security goons, one tapped in the LeBell Lock as the heels fled up the ramp.
There’s an argument to be made that this was very WWE. But it got the crowd hot, showed all the stars, setup a bunch of future matches and pushed the main event. Big tick.
*****
Continuing the WWE theme, the next segment was Damage CTRL. Except in the truest sense – MJF going to meet ‘Tony Khan’s friends Robert Kraft and Julian Edelmann’ (a Jewish NFL player known for his anti-discriminatory work).
Cue corny music and a wistful MJF talking about hoping to help kids watching at home standup to antisemitism. Lots of footage of he and Kraft talking, the latter of whom was hard to hear, and MJF talking about how rampant antisemitism is.
I really didn’t like that angle the other day yet still don’t think I’m on the extreme end of the opposition, such was it’s vehemence. Doubtful this will placate many people. At no point was there an acknowledgment of making a mistake.
Samoa Joe vs Willie Mack (ROH TV Title)
Backstory: NONE
Joe continued the big pops, Mack did not, yet the crowd did cheer at the announcement of his name. Kelly started by calling him a ‘journeyman’ – he did have a wider point but it didn’t help the feel of this match. McGuinness elaborated – Mack’s had a tough life. He came off very sympathetically. But doing it as the match begins… too late.
They ran through the card and I immediately wanted to skip to the main event – Juice ‘in action’, Keith Lee ‘in action’ and Statlander vs Blue, so basically the champ ‘in action’ too, for the title of course. Heyyy, here’s a bunch of squash matches!
After butting shoulders a few times, Joe hit jabs in the corner, Mack came back with an enziguri and sloppy plancha after Joe spilled to ringside.
Ads.
Mack on top, Joe fired out of the corner, missed an elbow, Mack struck with a pump kick, Joe down in the corner, cannonball, pin, two. Crowd getting into Mack here. Both to their feet, exchange of shots, Mack sent to the corner, boot up, leaping off the buckle into a Manhattan Drop, big boot, senton splash, two.
Snap powerslam, same result. Back to fighting, Joe had his boot caught, Stunner from Mack, scrambling to a cover, nother two. To the top, looking for his Six Star Splash, Joe caught him up there, Muscle Buster, g’night.
Fun match, helped by a rabid crowd. These wrestlers feel like stars tonight as a result.
Winner: Samoa Joe
Lexi backstage with CJ Perry. Her pitch to potential clients was ‘Have you ever sat on the side and felt like everyone else was getting all the spotlight?’. So she’ll have ¾ of the roster signed up by tomorrow.
‘And felt angry inside?’. Cause she knows that feeling and she wants to help guide people to stardom. Action Andretti just happened to be a step off camera and hit on Perry under the guise of her managing him.

Danhausen’s coming back – so get ready for more of the same stuff every single week. They pushed his mask.
Juice Robinson vs Christopher Daniels
Backstory: NONE
Robinson’s now going by ‘the Stray Bullet’ as well as ‘Rock Hard’. AEW are doubling down by putting him straight back out there. But shouldn’t MJF be rushing the ring right now since he was so pissed on Dynamite? No mention of the angle so they could be pretending it never happened or it could just be AEW being AEW.
Juice baited Daniels then fled outside with the rest of BCG. Back in, Daniels ducked under a lariat, pair of armdrags into an armlock, a third into the same hold. Crowd quiet for the first time all night. Robinson tripped the vet into the ropes.
Then dangled his car keys, the ref was distracted, BCG beatdown Daniels outside.
Ads.
Daniels countered Juice is Loose into a northern lights for two, the heel ran at him right into an very nice STO, Robinson down, Daniels lariat, axe handle, boot to the mush, second STO, crowd behind the vet, DVD for two. Daniels looks really good here. Looking for Angel’s Wings, Juice backed him to the corner, big left, cannonball, Juice is Loose, win.
Crowd didn’t really boo Robinson.
BCG hit the ring, White got down on one knee and presented Juice with a ring with which to punch Daniels. So seems they have dropped the roll of quarters thing. Some chants for MJF, Kelly said he wasn’t here. Convenient. That’s becoming a booking crutch too.
Robinson took the mic to say he’s been knocking losers out for years even without a ring. Because with him, it’s all about the Left Hand of God, what’s on it doesn’t matter. He’s gonna win the battle royal, take the ring and pawn it to pay for a vacation.
White followed up. If Max wonders why this is all happening to him, he has one man, or boy, to blame. He brought it all on himself by jumping him in that mask. Now his world’s gonna be taken apart, ending when White is crowned, officially, AEW champ. Since ‘Jay White does it better than you and everybody knows it’.
Winner: Juice Robinson
Dustin Rhodes is in that battle royal. He called himself the coming storm, the Natural is coming home. To win the battle royal then the diamond ring and a chance at his dream to win the AEW Title. His path starts in Houston.
As usual, just stellar mic work from the vet, who’s still really good between the ropes. But we’ve seen this a million times now, they throw him out there for things like this and expect us to take him seriously. If he’s Robinson’s only competition to win, that battle royal’s going to be flat.

Lexi with Nick Wayne – ‘the talk of the wrestling world lately’…
Wayne’s going to sitdown with JR and his mom on Dynamite. Wayne asked why, why does he have to explain himself once again? If the whole world wants to know so bad, they can find out on Dynamite.
For someone who’s never played heel, his facials and promo were pretty good here. Hope his mum’s a good actress.
Kyle Fletcher vs Boulder
Backstory: NONE (noticing a pattern?)
Boulder was already in the ring.
Fletcher grabbed a headlock, was elevated over, tried a shoulder barge, no effect. So fired rights but ran into a military press slam. Boulder ended up on the apron, Fletcher knocked him off via leg lariat.
Boulder had evidently strayed too far – since Fletcher looked at him for a while then shrugged then barely connected on a tope as Kelly emphasized ‘what a long dive’. They showed a replay. WHY!?
Boulder slammed him in the middle, motorboated… – ‘What does that mean Kevin?’ asked Nigel. ‘Tony, help me’. Love Nigel.
…But was caught up top and powerbombed down, dragon sleeper for the immediate tap. Got Fletcher a win on tv. If it were the only squash, no probs.
Winner: Kyle Fletcher
Renee congratulated the Acclaimed and Billy on defending the titles three times in a week. The other two celebrated how long they’d been champs; Caster hoped MJF was noticing. Billy cut him off to say Caster’s relationship efforts were not good. So they’re going to help him. Since Billy’s good with the girls and Bowens is good with the guys.
They sent Renee away, told Caster to say something nice, like a gentleman, then called her back. Caster said – ‘So Renee, how about those Oral Sessions’. Renee was fuming and left. Jericho’s ex’s walked in and slammed the Acclaimed. They called their act boring and stale. Then challenged them to a match. Speaking of boring and stale, we’ve seen this before. And it wasn’t good the first time.
Garcia was going to dance, Hager pulled him away.
Kris Statlander vs Skye Blue (TBS Title)
Backstory: NONE
So I hadn’t noticed this but Blue has more ‘black stuff’ around her eyes and is getting less enthusiastic by the week. They showed the angle where Julia Hart mist-ed her.
Lockup, collar and elbow, break. They wrestled back and forth: headlock in the middle, arm wringer, series of switches, back to the headlock, takeover, back to their feet, shoulders collided, stalemate. Statlander blocked a cazadora but took a back elbow.
Back to the headlock, Blue whipped the champ in, she came back off the ropes to run through Blue, body slam; Blue came back via headscissors, tried another headlock takeover, Statlander muscled her up into a belly to back.
‘Title is on the line from what I understand…’, fished McGuinness. Even the announcers can’t keep up with the lack of promotion.
Running elbow in the coner, Blue blocked a second with a kick from the apron then snapped her across the tope rope.
Ads.
Back to Statlander being slammed off the champ’s back, Blue hit her low, very slow, enziguri, running lariat, Stat tripped her, spinning senton, lariat in the corner, knee too, fisherman buster, two.
Saturday Night Fever coming, Blue slipped free, hit a tornado ddt for two slaps. Then headed slowly upstairs and was predictably caught but countered to powerbomb Stat off the buckle. Though was caught out of a cross body into a powerslam, both down, crowd cheering, into this.
Fighting from their knees to their feet, Blue landed a thrust kick, knee lift, step-up in the ropes blocked, Blue slipped behind to roll her up for two, then hit the step-up knee, low dropkick, looked for another headscissors but was snatched into Saturday Night Fever for the win.
Easily the best Skye Blue match I’ve seen. Liked the wrestling to a stalemate at the start and some cool moves and counters toward the finish.
Statlander was trying to help Blue up, Blue resisted, Willow Nightingale came out to pacify the situation, an angry Statlander stormed off. Not sure who was supposed to be what or how we were supposed to feel here. If anything the champ seemed the heel.
Poor Willow.
Winner: Kris Statlander
Kyle Fletcher demanded mic time. He sent wishes to Davis. But the injury gave him the chance to prove how good he is. And there’s a man he considers the ‘measuring stick’. So he’s calling out Kenny Omega for Dynamite.
So they learned nothing from Tuesday.
Good matches are just good matches. And no doubt this’ll be very good. But they happen every week. If Fletcher had some momentum and the result was in doubt, it’d feel much bigger. Losing to big stars is fine ‘on your way up’. But you should also beat some people who actually get ring entrances to show you are indeed going upwards.
*****
Another of those Ingobernable videos they enjoy filming but not following up on: cinematic, flashy cars, camera cuts, lots of posing. Apparently Rush is back with a group of ‘real killers’: Dralistico, Vance and Jose the Assistant. They implied this was the final vid before their return but we’ll see.
Where the hell’s Andrade? Both here and generally.
Keith Lee vs Turbo Floyd
Backstory: NONE
Shane Taylor was watching backstage with Lee Moriarty. Floyd only got a graphic; Boulder at least got his name announced.
Floyd had to leap onto Lee’s shoulders for the match winning powerbomb and Lee still almost dropped him.
Winner: Keith Lee
Miro package. These weeks have been testing now his wife’s back. The pursuit of gold will make her more vicious and angry. Every week, until there’s nothing left of her. So he has to put a stop to it.
He then dragged a beaten Action Andretti in from off-screen – ‘I am willing to destroy every man to protect one woman, this is the promise of the Redeemer.’ Member when Andretti beat Jericho?
Interesting story, curious where it’s going.

AEW have a new deal with CMLL so had a package pushing Mistico’s debut next Rampage. They called him the greatest Luchador of all time. Not an expert but that seems a lie. He’ll face Rocky Romero.
Christian Cage vs Bryan Danielson (TNT Title)
Backstory: Danielson beat Swerve Tuesday to win a shot
Wow this one’s getting time. Good half hour left. JR joined on comms.
They gave it the big intro – lights down and all that.
Cage retreated to the corner, an agitated Bryan waiting in the middle: lockup, to their knees, Cage landed an armdrag leaving both in opposing corners. Back to it, this time Danielson wrestled his way into a leg takedown but was quickly kicked away. Again, both in opposing corners.
Back to it once more, Cage headlock takedown, Danielson got a pair of twos rolling his weight while still in the hold, to their feet, Cage knocked him down via shoulder block, back to the headlock takedown, Danielson transitioning into a headscissors, Cage got the ropes.
Headlock again, Cage whipped off, shoulder block again, Danielson leapfrog, armdrag, thinking LeBell, Cage panicked to the outside.
Ads. Really nice start.
Returning to Cage in a waistlock, finally switching behind, Danielson immediately took him down by the legs, Romero Special coming, crowd loud for it. The Dragon hooked the nose before lifting the champ up, Cage’s shoulders dropped to the mat, the ref got two, not sure who would’ve won there since both had shoulders to canvas. Cool transition anyway.
Cage again slipped outside but suckering Danielson in. Though the challenger countered a whip into the barricade, followed with another onto a sitting chair, leg lariat against the barricade, Cage flung back in, bow and arrow, Cage’s limbs in different counties, the Dragon again finding a way to pin Cage’s shoulders while still in the hold, again for two.
Cage poked the eyes, single-arm ddt on Danielson’s broken arm. Now that’s a heel: I’m good but I tried wrestling, the babyface is better, so now I’m going to cheat.
He posed to boos.
Then went to work on the injured arm as the crowd chanted ‘FU Christian’ (little known fact, also a chant during the Crusades). The challenger tried to fight back, Cage immediately went back to the arm, but was whipped hard to take a front buckle, crowd up as Danielson went upstairs. But missed and hurt his arm further, Cage pouncing, driving his knee into the limb. Fighting to his feet, Danielson landed headbutts, lowered his head and took a boot but elevated a rushing Cage outside, tope coming – Cage was waiting with a right, Danielson crumpled on the apron.
Where Cage joined him. Danielson looked for a German off it, Cage fought free and went old school with his see-saw kick off the middle rope then shoved BD to the buckle before driving him down onto the apron via hammerlock slam.
More ads, Danielson screaming.
Back to the Dragon fighting but tripped outside where Cage walloped his arm repeatedly against the announce desk. He yelled in Danielson’s face that he was the best in the world. Then sat him atop the buckle, firing dismissive slaps then seeking a superplex. Beckoning to the crowd – who booed – before cheering as Danielson fought back via headbutt, Cage plummeting to the mat, Danielson perched, diving headbutt, both down, Cage bleeding slightly from his head.
Back up, JR was in a town for a slugfest, Danielson mostly headbutting due to his injuries, Cage hit a chop in the corner, irish whip, Danielson kicked up and over, duck under, running lariat, crowd loud as the challenger fired up, kicks to the chest sending Cage stumbling outside to eat a tope.
Throwing Cage back in, Danielson landed a shotgun from the top for two, took a low kick, Cage attempted a sunset flip, BD rolled through, avoiding a charging Cage, leg lariat in the corner, kick to the chest before taking Christian up for a rana which the vet rolled through via sunset flip. Another two slaps.
(BOTB is also next week – Acclaimed vs JAS Remnants)
From the apron, he again poked the challenger with a ‘beautiful Greco-Roman thumb to the eye’ (Nigel) then snapped his neck across the top rope before heading to the top: frogsplash hit, two only. Cage thinking Killswitch, Danielson struggling to his feet, hold in place, Danielson stepped on the achilles, forced Cage to his knees then peppered him with Yes! kicks until Cage ducked the last – reverse ddt.
Retreating to the corner, preparing a spear, Danielson booted him as he arrived for two. Time to kick his f’ing head in. Cage down, Danielson preparing a busaiku knee or spear in the corner, Cage popped up to blast him with a spear, Killswitch, kickout.
Cage crouched, thinking spear again as the crowd chanted TiA. Danielson avoided it, busaiku knee – crowd absolutely crazy here – Cage kicked out. Right into the LeBell, Cage was too near the ropes. But dragged back center, Danielson’s arm failed him, he couldn’t synch it. The ref then roared to his feet with the champ in a submission hold center of the ring in a title match because Big Bill hit the apron.
Ricky Starks nailed Danielson with the belt, Cage won. Lame. New booking ideas please. Like any. Because they currently have only one.
The heels worked over Danielson, FTR hit the scene, finally Copeland too, he worked over Saurus in the corner, FTR fought Big Bill off, he dragged Starks out to safety and Copeland booted Saurus outside, faces ruling the ring.
Except for Nick Wayne, who stumbled to his feet with the faces all around him. Copeland nailed him with a spear to close the show.
Opening seg set the show up nicely; made the main event clear, gave the show some structure
Miro/Perry storyline is intriguing
Danielson vs Cage sans finish
*****
Enough, enough, enough with ROH & pointless ‘title’ matches – AEW either believe Willie Mack is a star or that we’re stupid; neither reflects well on them
A show full of squashes with no story – they basically gave you a reason to tune out and come back for the final match
Appreciate you reading. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
AEW and CMLL have announced a collaboration between the two which will see Mistico participate in an AEW match next week on Rampage.
Mistico will be taking on Rocky Romero and the match will be taped on Wednesday night, airing two days later on Rampage on TNT.
A CMLL release said that they hope that this exciting match marks the beginning of a new era between two of the largest wrestling companies in the world.
“This collaboration between CMLL and All Elite Wrestling not only seeks to provide fans with a unique experience, but also to promote the growth and promotion of Lucha Libre around the world, as both companies share a common vision of bringing this sport to new horizons and are excited to explore future opportunities together,” CMLL said.
AEW President Tony Khan met with CMLL officials and also wrote that it was a great honor to meet them and hopes next week’s match is just the beginning.
Mistico is the current NWA World Historic Middleweight champion. He also wrestled for WWE under the name of Sin Cara (the original one).
Former WWE creative writer Britney Abrahams, who a few months ago sued WWE and several other current and former employees for discrimination, has dropped the lawsuit against WWE after the two sides reached amicable terms.
In August, she dismissed the lawsuit without prejudice against most of the defendants but left the WWE one open. In new court filings, Abrahams has agreed to dismiss the WWE lawsuit – and change the previous ones – to with prejudice, meaning that she cannot sue the named parties for the same issue.
The document filed with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York reads, “Plaintiff BRITNEY ABRAHAMS, by and through her attorneys, THE COCHRAN FIRM, hereby gives notice that the above-captioned action (and all claims contained therein) is voluntarily dismissed with prejudice in its entirety. Plaintiff further gives notice of her request that the claims previously dismissed on August 17, 2023 without prejudice be now deemed dismissed with prejudice. Each party shall bear that party’s own attorney’s fees and costs. Dismissal is proper under this section because no party has yet answered the complaint in this matter.”
The document is signed by Derek S. Sells, Managing Partner for The Cochran Firm’s New York office.
The original lawsuit alleged that Abrahams was discriminated against and suffered retaliation against her for objecting to “offensively racist and stereotypical jargon” used in the scripts of black wrestlers. She also had multiple complaints ignored and was terminated from her job for taking home a WrestleMania chair.
CM Punk was in Tampa yesterday doing another round of commentary for Cage Fury Fighting Championship and the two other co-hosts also got in on the fun speculating about the future of CM Punk.
“We got CM Punk here tonight, he may be going to other promotions, who knows,” said commentator John Morgan, as the three laughed. “We’ll throw you under the bus right away,” he added.
All this happened while last year’s Survivor Series theme song was playing as the background music for the segment, fueling more conspiracy theories that Punk is heading back to WWE next month.
Several insiders, who originally said that there were negotiations between the two parties, said this week that WWE has opted not to sign Punk and they wanted to shut down any expectations that fans might have heading into Survivor Series.
But then yesterday on Smackdown, another reference to Punk was done when Roman Reigns called John Cena “John boy,” the same name Punk called Cena many years ago during an episode of Raw.
Punk last month during another CFFC event said that he was free for the “next two months.”
Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated is reporting that it was Endeavor and TKO CEO Ari Emanuel who put Paul “Triple H” Levesque completely in charge of WWE creative, putting aside Vince McMahon from the creative process to focus solely on the business side of the company.
“Emanuel has long been a firm believer that, in order for an organization to be as effective as possible, people need to do the job they are assigned,” Barrasso wrote. “In this case, that approach has empowered Levesque to exert his full influence in the company’s creative sphere.”
McMahon slowly started dipping his fingers in the creative side following WrestleMania and made several changes to both Raw and Smackdown while working remotely on a weekly basis.
Vince, 78, retains his spot as TKO Executive Chairman and is no longer the single decision maker in WWE as now he reports to Emanuel on all business decisions.
Jade Cargill was introduced on Smackdown last night in a backstage segment involving Charlotte Flair.
Flair bumped into Cargill after receiving news that she’s getting a WWE Women’s championship match against IYO SKY next week.
Triple H quickly showed up and as he was going to introduce Jade to Charlotte, Charlotte cut him off and told him she knows who she is.
“It’s my pleasure,” Cargill told Flair. “Oh, it will be,” Flair responded before exiting the frame.
Cargill previously showed up at Fastlane and this week’s NXT, where she was greeted by Triple H and Shawn Michaels respectively as she came out of her SUV backstage.
Kevin Owens has been traded back to Friday Night Smackdown, effectively ending his partnership with Sami Zayn.
The introduction of Owens was made by new Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis, who said Owens is back after Monday Night Raw got Jey Uso a few weeks ago.
Dom Mysterio, who interrupted Aldis just a few minutes earlier, ended up receiving a Stunner for his trouble as Kevin Owen’s first act on the show.
There was some belief that it would be Cody Rhodes who would be traded to Smackdown to continue his angle with Roman Reigns but that rumor was shot down by several insiders who said Rhodes was not going to be the one traded.
Nick Aldis was introduced as the new Smackdown General Manager last night on the season premiere of Smackdown by Triple H.
The GM role was brought back and Triple H also appointed Adam Pearce as the Raw GM, saying that he’s done a “thankless job” overseeing both shows for the past three years.
“The opportunity of a lifetime. Thank you @TripleH @WWE,” wrote Aldis on X after the show. “Onwards and upwards for the blue brand!”
His wife, Mickie James, told him that she loves him and she was really happy right now. “Can we celebrate already?! Ps… Aldis Family Business just picked up,” she added.
Aldis’ first order of business was to introduce Kevin Owens as the new Smackdown Superstar who was traded to the blue brand after Jey Uso went to Raw.
The former NWA and TNA champion has never worked an on-screen character with WWE before and actually never worked for WWE at all before this August. Aldis was doing a producer job on both Raw and Smackdown.
John Cena opens the season premiere of Smackdown. The Tribal Chief immediately interrupts him.
Roman comes out with Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman. Roman tells Cena “If you are going to open my show you better do it the right way” and then says asks Tulsa to acknowledge him. Roman tells Cena to leave or he will make him leave.
Cena tells Roman he is not here to challenge him he is there to acknowledge him. And he is not there to challenge him tonight because he hasn’t earned it, but he knows someone who has, and LA Knight comes out.

This blog post will discuss seven practical tips for wrestlers to focus on their well-being while giving their all in practice and competitions. Here’s a peak: from practicing mindful meditation to getting adequate sleep each night – we’ll cover it all!
Tips For Wrestlers To Focus On Their Well-Being
Wrestling is a demanding sport that requires physical, mental, and emotional strength. With constant training, practice, and competition, it can take a toll on your well-being. As a wrestler, taking care of yourself is essential to stay in top shape and avoid burnout. Here are seven ways wrestlers can focus on their well-being.
1. Prioritize Sleep
Getting enough sleep is crucial for wrestlers. Lack of sleep can affect your physical and mental performance, making it difficult to train and compete at your best. Aim for at least 7 – 8 hours of sleep every night to help your body recover and reduce the risk of injury. Establish a consistent sleep schedule to maintain a healthy sleep-wake cycle.
2. Proper Nutrition
Wrestlers must maintain a healthy, balanced diet to stay in optimal shape. This means consuming enough carbohydrates, protein, healthy fats, and vitamins in consideration of their specific requirements for training and competition. If you are using cannabis, it’s better to use home-grown cannabis. You can check the high supplies website if you are confused about where to buy cannabis seed. Moreover, Avoid eating foods high in unhealthy fats, sugars, and salt. Stay hydrated by drinking enough water throughout the day and especially during training.
3. Take Time Off
Wrestling is intense and requires a lot of physical and mental energy. Taking breaks from training or competitions and giving your mind and body a chance to rest is essential for your well-being. Taking a day or two off from training or participating in physical activities such as stretching, swimming, or yoga can help.
4. Manage Stress
Being under constant pressure while training or competing can be stressful, and wrestlers must learn to manage their stress effectively. Practice deep breathing exercises, yoga, or meditation to help you relax and reduce stress. Talking to a mental health professional about developing healthy coping mechanisms is also a good idea.
5. Set Realistic Goals
As a wrestler, setting realistic goals can help keep you motivated and focused on your training. Remember to set specific, attainable goals and celebrate your milestones. This will help you stay on track and avoid getting discouraged if progress is slow.
6. Use Appropriate Techniques and Equipment
Using appropriate wrestling techniques and equipment can reduce the risk of injury. Always wear a headgear, mouthguard, protective cups, and wrestling shoes when training or competing. Learn proper techniques for your weight class to avoid unnecessary strain and injury.
7. Maintain a Support System
Wrestling can be a mentally and emotionally challenging sport, and having a support system in your corner can help you stay motivated and focused. Seek out family, friends, or mentors who understand and support your goals in wrestling.
Importance of Good Well-being for Wrestlers
A wrestler’s well-being is their physical and mental state of health, and this goes beyond just being physically fit. In this post, we will explore why wrestlers must focus on their well-being.
1. Preventing Injuries
Injury prevention is an integral part of well-being. Wrestlers are at a high risk of sustaining injuries, especially in competition. Still, proper physical fitness and a balanced diet can lower the chances of injury. By implementing safe training practices, stretching exercises, conditioning, and proper form when performing techniques, wrestlers can help protect their bodies from strains, tears, and other injuries.
2. Promoting Mental Health
Wrestlers must maintain good mental health. The sport can be highly stressful, and athletes may face intense pressure from coaches and peers or experience burnout, anxiety, and depression. As such, wrestlers must focus on their mental health. Among other things, they can achieve this by avoiding over-commitment, honing their mental resilience, maintaining a solid support system, and speaking up when they need help.
3. Positive Attitude and Motivation
A wrestler’s mindset is also crucial. They need to cultivate a resilient and positive attitude to remain inspired, maintain focus, and consistently perform at their best. Prioritizing well-being helps wrestlers achieve this goal by mitigating Stress and enforcing healthy habits that promote mental and physical resilience.
4. Better Sleep
Good sleep habits can influence wrestlers’ overall well-being. A relaxed and consistent sleep pattern can enhance their cognitive abilities, retain learned techniques, and promote muscle recovery. Wrestlers can achieve this by setting themselves a regular sleep schedule, reducing their screen time before bed, and creating a sleep-conducive environment.
5. Improved Overall Health
Lastly, prioritizing well-being can help improve overall health. This includes incorporating a balanced diet, hydration, and regular exercise. Wrestlers can maintain their strength and endurance through balanced meals focused on nutrient-dense foods. They can also train consistently with a varied routine incorporating cardio and resistance training for the best results.
Conclusion
In conclusion, wrestlers must prioritize their well-being to succeed in their sport and maintain overall health. Wrestlers can improve their performance and avoid burnout by prioritizing sleep nutrition, managing stress, and setting realistic goals. Moreover, using appropriate techniques and equipment, taking time off, and maintaining a support system will help wrestlers stay motivated and stay on track. By following these seven tips, wrestlers can focus on their well-being while excelling in their sport.
PWInsider.com is reporting that Nick Aldis will be making his WWE television debut tonight on Friday Night Smackdown.
Aldis, the former NWA World champion, will be brought in on TV to portray an authority figure similar to that of Adam Pearce.
The 36-year-old British star has been working with the company for the past few months as a producer and recently described his time in WWE as “very positive” and “rewarding.”
“Fortunately, WWE’s been very understanding,” Aldis told the McGuire On Wrestling podcast regarding his other commitments. “There have been times where I’ve been unable to make certain shows because of my independent commitments, and also because of Mickie’s commitments. Fitting it all in is a challenge, but certainly fun. Basically, I’m currently attending Raw and Smackdown whenever I can.”
Aldis said last month that he’s on a handshake deal with WWE but if he’s being introduced tonight as on-screen authority figure, it’s likely that he has signed a full-time deal.
Former WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler along with his brother and AEW star Ryan Nemeth will be having a stand up comedy show called Hunkamania during Thanksgiving week in Chicago when both AEW and WWE are in town for Dynamite, Smackdown, and Survivor Series.
Hunkamania is a comedy variety show featuring stand-up, funny stories from the road, special guests from the world of pro wrestling, and once-in-lifetime audience interaction!
The show will be held at The Lincoln Lodge at 2040 North Milwaukee Avenue on Friday, November 24 with a start time of 10PM local time, which is an hour after Friday Night Smackdown ends.

Here Are 5 Techniques To Get Ready For Your Wrestling Match
Wrestling is a challenging sport requiring immense physical strength, endurance, and mental toughness. Preparing for a wrestling match can be daunting, especially if you’re a beginner. Once you have mastered the basics of wrestling, you must put in extra effort to become a successful wrestler. This blog post will share five techniques to help you prepare for your wrestling match and achieve your goals.
1. Stick to a regular training schedule:
Maintaining a regular training schedule is the most critical aspect of preparing for a wrestling match. Ensure you train three to four days weekly, focusing on strength training, cardio, and wrestling-specific skills. This consistent training will help you build stamina, muscle memory, and technique. Ensure you build explosiveness by doing agility drills, plyometrics, and speed workouts.
2. Train with partners at different skill levels:
Training with wrestlers at different skill levels can help you develop new techniques, hone your current ones, and improve your overall wrestling game. Being challenged by more skillful wrestlers and teaching newer ones will help build your confidence in the sport and help you learn more about your strengths and weaknesses. Training with experienced partners will help you work on different wrestling positions, counters, and attacks.
3. Focus on your nutrition:
Proper nutrition is vital for any athlete preparing for their craft, and wrestling is no exception. Eating a healthy and balanced diet rich in protein, carbs, healthy fats, fiber, and essential vitamins and minerals is critical. A nutritious diet helps build muscle-bone strength and helps with recovery after grueling workouts and wrestling tournaments. Ensure you plan your meals, avoid junk food, and stay hydrated to stay in peak physical and mental condition.
4. Work on mental toughness:
Your mental toughness and focus can set you apart from the competition. Wrestling requires a high level of endurance, concentration, and mental agility. To build your mental strength, practice visualization techniques, meditate, and prepare mentally for the match. Stay calm under pressure, stay positive, and work on building your resilience.
5. Study your opponents:
It is crucial to study your opponents before a wrestling match. Look for their wrestling style, strengths, and weaknesses. Research their previous matches and learn their wrestling tactics. Analyzing your opponents will help you strategize your attack and identify improvement areas. Avoid being complacent, and plan your game according to your findings.
5 Pre-workouts You Can Take To Prepare For Your Wrestling Match
1. Creatine
Creatine is one of the most popular supplements athletes use, and for good reason. It helps increase your muscles’ energy production during intense physical activity. This, in turn, can help you power through a lengthy wrestling match. When taken before a match, Creatine can work to delay fatigue and improve muscle strength, making it an excellent pre-workout supplement for wrestlers.
2. Beta-Alanine
When you’re wrestling, you need exceptional endurance to keep going. Beta-alanine is used to help with muscular endurance and can help reduce fatigue close to the end or between rounds during competitions. This supplement increases the level of carnosine in the body, which postpones the build-up of lactic acid. By taking Beta-Alanine, you can increase the number of times that you can perform at your best.
3. Kratom
For wrestlers looking for an all-natural way to boost their performance before a match, Kratom may be worth considering. Some users report increased energy levels, mental clarity, and reduced tension after consuming Kratom. As with any supplement, it is important to consult a healthcare professional before use, especially if you have any preexisting health conditions. Check google with “kratom sold near me” to find the kratom stores near you. Nonetheless, Kratom may be a viable option for wrestlers looking to take their performance to the next level.
4. BCAAs
BCAAs (Branch Chain Amino Acids) are essential for muscle recovery as they help promote protein synthesis and muscle repair. When engaging in strenuous physical activity like wrestling, it’s normal for muscles to sustain some level of damage. But with BCAA’s, you can increase the repair rate, reducing downtime and allowing you to get back to peak performance.
5. Citrulline Malate
Citrulline Malate is an amino acid that is converted to nitric oxide. Nitric Oxide helps to improve blood flow in the body, which means that your muscles can receive the necessary nutrients and oxygen more quickly. The increased blood flow can help to reduce physical exertion during wrestling and thus, reduce the likelihood of fatigue.
Conclusion
In conclusion, preparing for a wrestling match is something that all successful wrestlers take very seriously. Developing the skills and techniques needed to succeed requires dedication and hard work. But if you practice the five tips outlined in this blog post – warm up and cool down properly, eat and drink right, practice visualization techniques, focus on mental toughness, and get sufficient rest – you’ll be significantly better off than your opponents. Preparing well will make all the difference in the world when it comes time to roll out on the mat. So what are you waiting for? Get out there and start preparing! You only have one chance to put in your best performance at your next wrestling match – make sure it’s worth it!
