A new number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight title will be decided on Monday Night Raw tomorrow on an episode which will be taped tonight from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
A fatal four-way match will pit Seth Rollins vs Dominik Mysterio vs Sheamus vs Damian Priest, with the winner moving ahead to take on champion Gunther.
It’s unclear if this match will take place at Survivor Series or on Saturday Night’s Main Event which will be in December on NBC.
Sheamus and Priest were not involved at Crown Jewel yesterday although Sheamus did the pre-show panel. Mysterio got involved in Liv Morgan’s match but had no action while Rollins had to go through Bronson Reed.
Former WWE stars Mandy Rose and Tino Sabbatelli tied the knot yesterday at the Park Chateau Estate and Gardens in East Brunswick, New Jersey according to an exclusive story by PEOPLE.COM, which covered the whole wedding and had exclusive rights to the photos.
Now both going by their real names of Amanda Saccomanno and Sabatino Piscitelli, the couple were joined by 215 guests including current and former WWE stars such as as Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade, Sonya Deville, CJ Perry, Indi Hartwell, and others.
The newlyweds will be going to their honeymoon in the Maldives and plan on starting a family.
They have been dating since 2018 and got engaged in 2022.
Rose got released from her WWE deal in December 2022 after posting nude content on her FanTime content. Sabbatelli was released in April 2020 from his WWE deal and returned later in the year, only to be fired again a few months later.
Liv Morgan and Cody Rhodes became the inaugural Crown Jewel champions at the Crown Jewel premium live event held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
WWE Women’s World champion Liv Morgan was the first one to win the title after she defeated WWE Women’s champion Nia Jax. The match had a lot of interference, first by Tiffany Stratton who teased cashing in and then the arrival of Raquel Rodriguez and Dom Mysterio. Rodriguez and Mysterio helped Liv get the upperhand and Morgan won after delivering an Oblivion.
After the match, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque came out to present Morgan with her new title as fans gave a standing ovation.
In the main event of the show, WWE Undisputed champion Cody Rhodes defeated WWE World Heavyweight champion Gunther in a classic match which had a hot crowd throughout.
The ending came when Cody tried a Cody Cutter from the top rope but Gunther caught him in a sleeper hold. Cody then reversed it, similar to how Bret Hart defeated Roddy Piper at WrestleMania 8, and pinned Gunther to win the match.
After the match, Gunther and Cody shook hands and Triple H came in with four Saudi officials – two men and two women – to present the Crown Jewel championship to Rhodes.
After fireworks went off and some more celebrations, Liv Morgan joined in the ring as the champs posed together, shook hands, saluted the crowd, and the show went off the air.
Here are the results from the Crown Jewel 2024 event which took place from the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga defeated Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso; Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair defeated Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky, Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, and Chelsea Green and Piper Niven in a fatal four-way match to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles; Seth Rollins defeated Bronson Reed; Liv Morgan defeated Nia Jax to become the inaugural WWE Women’s Crown Jewel champion; Randy Orton vs Kevin Owens was a no contest and the match never started; Cody Rhodes defeated Gunther to become the inaugural WWE Crown Jewel champion.
The Bloodline storyline got even more complicated at the Crown Jewel show with the re-introduction of Sami Zayn.
Solo’s Bloodline defeated the OG Bloodline in the opening match of Crown Jewel and pretty much to everyone’s surprise, it was Solo Sikoa who got the clean pin on Roman Reigns for the win after Reigns got hammered by Jacob Fatu.
After the match, the beatdown continued by Solo’s Bloodline and with Jey Uso’s head wrapped around a chair, Sami Zayn’s theme song kicked in to a massive pop from the crowd.
Sami entered the ring and went for a hug with Solo but that hug turned into an exploder suplex. Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, and Jacob Fatu attacked but The Usos recovered and dispatched everyone, leaving Solo in the ring alone surrounded by the OG Bloodline.
With Jimmy, Jey, Sami, and Roman in each corner and Solo in the middle, Reigns went for the Superman punch and Zayn went for the Helluva Kick at the same time. Solo ducked and Sami clocked Reigns.
Solo bolted out of the ring and the OG Bloodline argued over what just happened, with Roman Reigns laying in the ring wondering how he got beaten – twice!
Appearing on SEC Nation, WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg announced that he will be having his retirement match next year.
The former WCW and WWE Universal champion revealed that WWE’s Nick Khan, Chris Legentil, and Paul “Triple H” Levesque informed him that they will be granting him his retirement match in 2025, but failed short on saying when and against who.
Goldberg has been chasing a retirement match for a couple of years now and it was promised to him by Vince McMahon for doing the job to Roman Reigns in Saudi Arabia in 2022 at the Elimination Chamber.
The new WWE management is said to be “kinder” to the WWE Legends and righting any wrongs from the past.
BREAKING: @Goldberg just announced that his retirement match will take place NEXT YEAR!
Hello everybody!! It’s @TheMagnumDA with another installment of the Pick’em report! Tonight, from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, WWE presents Crown Jewel 2024. This is shaping up to be the most consequential Crown Jewel yet, as they are debuting the Crown Jewel Championship in a “Bragging Rights” style series of matches between Raw and Smackdown’s World Champions.
On top of that, we’ve got heated grudge matches and multiple titles on the line. Colin and I have gone back and forth with the strap throughout 2024, but it’s time to decide who will walk out with BOTH the WOPC Championship, as well as the WOPC Crown Jewel Championship! Who’s going home with all the gold? Let’s find out right now!!
ON WITH THE PICKS!!
Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. Bronson Reed
Magnum: What a great storyline for Bronson Reed – a match like this elevates him to the next level. I wouldn’t be surprised if they take it up to an even higher notch – yes, the Big Bronson Reed push goes to 11, as Spinal Tap would say. Give me Reed in the biggest win of his life. Points – 2
Colin: Bronson Reeds needs to go over here, there’s no other way around it if they plan on extending this feud by another month or so. I have to admit, I’m not a fan of Reed, but when he squashed Rollins on Raw with six tsunamis, I thought it was their best presentation of him as a monster. Reed wins. Points – 6
Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens
Magnum: This entire storyline is building towards Owens vs. Rhodes, likely in a bullrope match. To get there, KO is going to have to hurt RKO in a way that will harken back to Sami Zayn and NXT nearly 10 years ago. Give me Owens to dominate the match and likely injure Orton after it’s all said and done. Points – 6
Colin: With the way Triple H describing Owens last week, it would make sense that a crazed KO wins here. I know Orton is one of the most protected stars on the roster, but Kevin Owens needs a good win, and this would be a very good win. And if he’s going for the title against Cody on SNME, losing here would make no sense. KO wins. Points – 3
WWE United States Championship – Triple Threat Match LA Knight (c) vs. Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes
Magnum: A triple threat match is always going to mean less confidence points for the pick, especially when the betting odds have been so tight between these three stallions. In the end, this is still LA Knight’s game (YEAH!) so I’ll take Knight to survive and retain, but by the skin of his teeth. Points – 3
Colin: They f’d up that game seven between Andrade and Hayes, didn’t they? It did not surprise me one bit, but it was annoying they went to that predictable route rather than giving us a clear winner. I can’t see LA Knight losing the title here and I feel another match between Hayes and Andrade should get a one-on-one with Knight. So YEAH, LA Knight wins. Points – 5
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship – Fatal 4 Way Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair (c) vs. Damage CTRL (Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky) vs. Meta-Four (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson) vs. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven
Magnum: Last night’s Fatal 4 Way was an awesome showcase for both Lash Legend and Piper Niven, and kudos to Iyo Sky for picking up one of the biggest victories she’s had since before WrestleMania. Having said that, the champs are just way too dominant. They lost in a fluke at the Clash, and it’s time to right those wrongs tonight. Jade and Bianca retain. Points – 7
Colin: I feel this is a case of getting as much women on the show to tick that box. I mean, kudos to WWE to be able to keep showcasing women at the Saudi shows but this one seemed a bit forced, especially with four teams. Cargill and Belair retain, that’s my pick. Points – 7
Six-Man Tag Team Match The OG Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and/or Jacob Fatu)
Magnum: Man, that moment between the original Bloodline last night on SmackDown….awesome stuff. THEY THE ONES!! Or…are they? Because they are going up against the well-oiled machine that is the current Bloodline. These guys have been on the road every night, they’ve been on TV every week, and even though they lost the tag titles to the Motor City Machine Guns, they haven’t folded their tent just yet. Expect Solo’s Bloodline to shock the world and pick up the duke here tonight. Points – 4
Colin: I was surprised they’re doing this match to be honest. I kinda expected them to keep them apart until Survivor Series: WarGames, but Saudi money wins anyway. $50 mil, I don’t blame them one bit! Anyway, with this moving to WarGames, I’m expecting Solo’s Bloodline to go over here. Poor Jimmy will probably take the pinfall here. Points – 4
WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship Liv Morgan (Women’s World Champion) vs. Nia Jax (WWE Women’s Champion)
Magnum: As wild as it sounds, this is probably the most challenging pick of the night. It’s hard to see how this will play out, but I am going to run with this theory – whoever loses their title first will likely be the winner of this match. Since I don’t see anyone dethroning Liv in the near future…and because Nia Jax’s days are numbered with Tiffy Time looming near, I am going to say that Nia Jax gets her last big victory as Crown Jewel Champion. Sooner or later, though…her title reign may be coming to an end. Points – 1
Colin: Liv Morgan is on a roll and I’m enjoying her reign as champion. It was good that they didn’t give Rhea the belt back yet. She’ll get it back, don’t get me wrong, but it’s Morgan’s time. Nia, well, I’m just waiting for Tiffany Stratton to cash in on her and win that title. Will it happen here? Unlikely, but I think somehow she’ll end up costing Nia the match. Liv wins. Points – 2
WWE Crown Jewel Championship Gunther (World Heavyweight Champion) vs. Cody Rhodes (Undisputed WWE Champion)
Magnum: Man, another tough one! At least…on the surface. I think Cody’s got a lot on his mind right now. I don’t know if he’s as prepared as The Ring General for this match. Look at it this way from Kayfabe – Who does Gunther have on the horizon? No one. Does he have to watch his back like Cody? No. Will he have support when he goes out to the ring? Yes, in the form of Kaiser. All of those factors demonstrate one thing…that Cody is a marked man, while Gunther is not. Of course, all of that could change if Goldberg shows up, but as far as I know…he didn’t make the flight to Saudi Arabia. So give me Gunther, in a big way. Points – 5
Colin: This could go either way with interference. Goldberg causes Gunther to lose, or Kevin Owens causes Cody Rhodes to lose. Which way is it going? I have no clue, but if I was the booking man, I’d have Gunther go over because he needs it more than Cody Rhodes. Either way, I think both will be protected in the finish. Give me a Gunther win. Points – 1
Alright fans, that’s going to do it for us! From all of us at the Wrestling-Online Pick’em crew, thank you so much for inviting us into your homes. We hope you enjoy the show, and we will see you after Thanksgiving for the SURVIVOR SERIES!!! @TheMagnumDA signing off.
WWE is back with its second premium live event from Saudi Arabia today with Crown Jewel.
Below are the latest betting odds available, but remember, these odds are likely to change by the time the show goes on air so bet carefully.
In the first of two Crown Jewel championship matches, WWE World Heavyweight champion Gunther is the favorite right now with 7/20 odds to defeat WWE champion Cody Rhodes who has 39/20 odds.
The other Crown Jewel championship match features the women champions, with WWE Women’s champion Nia Jax having 4/9 odds and favorite to beat WWE Women’s World champion Liv Morgan who has 31/20 odds.
The United States title will be defended in a triple threat match with champion LA Knight the favorite to retain with 2/5 odds while his challengers, Andrade and Carmelo Hayes, are 37/20 and 8/1 in their odds respectively.
Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will put their WWE Women’s Tag Team titles on the line against in a fatal four-way match. The champions are 1/16 favorites heading in, with Chelsea Green and Piper Niven having 5/1 odds, Damage CTRL at 8/1, and NXT’s Meta-Four with 9/1.
The OG Bloodline reunites to take on the new Bloodline in a six-man tag team match and Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga are 1/4 favorites to defeat Roman Reigns and The Usos who are 5/2.
And Bronson Reed takes on Seth Rollins in a one-on-one with Reed the favorite with 11/20 odds while Rollins is 13/10 for the win.
The seating chart for the 2025 Royal Rumble has been released through On Location, which is selling premium travel experiences for the show.
It’s unclear from the chart if the Lucas Oil Stadium will be used in full or partial as done for previous non-WrestleMania stadium shows.
There will be no big stage and the entrance will once again be curved. Superstars will walk out from the corner of the stadium under section 105 which is in between the Lucas Oil gate and the Verizon Gate.
33 sections will make up the floor with none of them marked as risers, making it very hard to see ring action if you’re seated in the farthest sections.
Tickets for the Royal Rumble will go on sale on Friday, November 15 at 10AM ET via Ticketmaster.co. A pre-sale will begin Wednesday, November 13 at 10AM ET and fans can register now to receive the pre-sale code at https://www.wwe.com/royalrumble-2025-presale.
Former AEW star Marko Stunt announced that he is retiring from professional wrestling at age 28.
“Today, I write this with a heavy yet grateful heart as I announce my retirement from professional wrestling,” Stunt wrote. “This decision was not an easy one, as wrestling has been the biggest part of my life for so long, filled with moments that have shaped who I am today.”
He noted that this journey was filled with passion, sweat, tears, and unrivaled joy and while he’s aware that he’s not the biggest, he allowed himself to get battered, and loved it.
“However, after consulting with my doctor, I was advised to prioritize my long-term health and step down from in-ring competition. Accepting this reality has been one of the toughest moments of my career, but I know it is the right decision,” he continued.
Stunt thanked AEW for giving him the chance to showcase his abilities and share his passion with fans around the world. He also thanked Brett Lauderdale and Game Changer Wrestling for giving him his start and launching his career.
He also had a shout out to all the wrestlers who he shared a ring with, thanking them for teaching him lessons, pushing him to his limits, and sharing unforgettable moments and also the fans who cheered, supported, and believed in him through every match and every show.
“As I step away from the ring, I take with me memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. While I may be retiring from in-ring competition, wrestling will always be a part of who I am,” Stunt said. “I hope to continue contributing to this amazing industry in different ways and to stay connected with all of you who made this dream a reality. Thank you for everything.”
Stunt was one of the AEW originals, aligning himself with Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus to form Jurassic Express. He was released from his contract in 2022.
The OG Bloodline got their band, or shall we say family, back together last night on Smackdown in front of an electric crowd.
During an in-ring segment between Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns, Jey Uso interrupted to big Yeets and the crowd even sang a verse of his theme song a cappella when the music stopped. Jey said that he’s back for this match because of Solo costing him his championship and ultimately, because that’s what family does.
But he warned Reigns that he’s no longer his lackey because he did not forget the physical damage, emotional damage, and mental damage that he went through because of Reigns. If they were going to do this, they’re going to do it as equals, and it won’t be Roman Reigns his tribal chief, but Roman Reigns his cousin.
Reigns asked for the microphone and after a long pause to absorb the crowd noise, he simply said, “Yeet!” That was enough for the crowd to explode and with one Yeet down, Jimmy took it upon himself to take the stage and raise his index finger like old times.
Jey, seeing that Reigns somewhat acknowledged him with the yeet, did the same like his brother and threw his index finger in the air as well. Reigns then slowly walked in the middle and slowly raised his index finger too as the crowd, already with their ones up, went bananas.
Live from the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, WWE presents Crown Jewel on Peacock and WWE Network. The full card is as follows:
Gunther vs Cody Rhodes for the inaugural WWE Crown Jewel title; Liv Morgan vs Nia Jax for the inaugural WWE Women’s Crown Jewel title; LA Knight vs Andrade vs Carmelo Hayes for the United States title; Roman Reigns and The Usos vs Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga in a six-man tag team match; Seth Rollins vs Bronson Reed; Randy Orton vs Kevin Owens; and Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair vs Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky vs Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson vs Chelsea Green and Piper Niven in a fatal four-way tag team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles.
Crown Jewel will kick off at a special start time of 1PM ET / 10AM PT / 5PM GMT / 6PM CET and the pre-show will start an hour earlier. The pre-show airs on Peacock, WWE Network, and WWE’s social media properties.
The journey of three WWE Superstars – Baron Corbin, Tegan Nox, and Indi Hartwell – has ended according to a story by Fightful which was also confirmed by other industry insiders.
Baron Corbin’s contract is not being renewed when it expires shortly and will be a free agent as soon as it ends.
“That’s all she wrote folks. It’s been real and I appreciate everyone who supported me,” Corbin wrote on social media after news came out.
Corbin has been signed with WWE since 2012 and spent years in NXT before making it to the main roster. He has not appeared on WWE television in months after his tag team with Apollo Crews was disbanded.
Indi Hartwell was released from her deal and is currently serving her 90-day no-compete clause. The Australian star has worked for WWE since 2019 and was in NXT before she was called up to the main roster last year.
“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened,” Hartwell wrote on X.
Also released was Tegan Nox, with the former star also having a 90-day no-compete clause. Just like Corbin, her TV appearances were very limited in 2024 and was rarely used. The Welsh star had a rough time in WWE, suffering two major injuries which kept her out of action for almost two years combined. She started with the company in 2017 and was released in 2021 before returning a year later.
The winners of the WWE Crown Jewel championships will not have to carry the title back to the United States as Triple H revealed on the Kickoff show that the titles will remain in Saudi Arabia, showcased at the WWE Experience in Riyadh.
Instead, they will get something else that they can show off.
“The champions, whoever that is after tomorrow night, will walk away with a massive ring, like a Super Bowl ring,” Triple H said to a crowd inside the WWE Experience.
Liv Morgan will battle Nia Jax in the first match and Gunther will take on Cody Rhodes in the other match where the titles will be on the line.

The Fright Night Dynamite drew 628,000 viewers, down just 9,000 viewers from last week’s broadcast despite heavy competition on TV from the MLB World Series game which had over 18 million viewers and NBA on ESPN. The show did a 0.19 rating in 18-49, the same as last week, and was #6 on the top 50 cable chart for the night. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)
Chris Bey’s tag team partner, Ace Austin, broke his silence for the first time since Bey’s injury and published a statement through TNA Wrestling.
Bey underwent successful neck surgery earlier this week after an incident during a tag team title match against The Hardys during last Sunday’s Impact television tapings.
“I was in the ring with Chris when the incident occurred last Sunday and I’ve been by his side ever since. It was just as normal as anything we’ve done in the ring thousands of times,” Austin wrote. “Everything was alright until it wasn’t. Each moment is precious and I’m cherishing every moment I’ve had in the ring and around the world with Chris, and every moment I have by his side right now.”
Austin added that there will be a lot of hard work ahead and Chris won’t be alone for any of it.
“He’s going to be surrounded by love and support from every single one of us. The road to recovery is going to be easy as ABC,” he concluded.
While the injury he suffered was never disclosed, according to Bey’s girlfriend he suffered a broken neck.
The New York Times has published a story recounting how a man, named Alfred Mancinelli, was scammed out of almost $1 million from a person impersonating WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss online.
The elderly man thought he was in a romantic relationship with Bliss and his entire savings and granddaughter’s college fund were completely taken away by scammers.
When his son tried to stop his father from spending more money, he sued his son and the last $100,000 which were frozen were returned back to him, which he also spent on the fake Alexa Bliss.
The NY Times said that while Mancinelli was being scammed way back in 2018, things got worse during the pandemic. Mancinelli died at 79 yeas of age last Summer.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Tony Khan is close to finalizing a television deal for Ring of Honor which would be the first time under his ownership that ROH finds itself on television.
Ever since Khan bought the company in March 2022 from Sinclair Broadcasting, ROH has transitioned to weekly streaming shows on the company’s streaming service HonorClub.
Meltzer adds that the rumored station is TruTV, which is on cable and part of the Warner Bros Discovery slate of channels. TruTV primarily broadcasts reruns of comedy, documentaries, soaps, and reality shows, but is transitioning to live sports during primetime.
AEW stars Ruby Soho and Angelo Parker welcomed their daughter today, Evie.
Parker announced the birth of their first child in a post on social media, saying it was the perfect Halloween.
“P.S. Your mom @realrubysoho is a total badass,” he wrote, along with a photo of all three holding hands.
Soho revealed she was pregnant in mid-April in a segment after Dynamite, telling her then-boyfriend that they’re expecting. She last wrestled in February.
