Report: ROH rumored to be closing on a television deal

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Tony Khan is close to finalizing a television deal for Ring of Honor which would be the first time under his ownership that ROH finds itself on television.

Ever since Khan bought the company in March 2022 from Sinclair Broadcasting, ROH has transitioned to weekly streaming shows on the company’s streaming service HonorClub.

Meltzer adds that the rumored station is TruTV, which is on cable and part of the Warner Bros Discovery slate of channels. TruTV primarily broadcasts reruns of comedy, documentaries, soaps, and reality shows, but is transitioning to live sports during primetime.
