It was announced during the San Diego Comic-Con that Mattel will be producing AAA action figures starting from next year.
The first figures will come in Fall 2027, with Mr. Igauna and La Yezca, La Parka, Psycho Clown, and El Hijo del Vikingo part of that initial group.
“Beginning Fall 2027, Mattel will launch an all-new line of AAA action figures inspired by the promotion’s legendary stars, iconic masks, and vibrant storytelling, bringing the excitement of lucha libre to fans of all ages,” a press release stated. “Known for their distinctive masks, costumes, and larger-than-life personas, AAA’s characters are made for collectability, appealing to longtime collectors and the lucha libre community.”
Mattel holds the licensing for their highly-successful WWE action figures line.
The TNA Knockouts TV title tournament continued on Impact last night with two more first round matches.
Wendy Choo took on Elayna Black in the first match, a match which ended in a draw after they hit the time-limit. Both women were later eliminated from the tournament, with their quarter final opponent, M By Elegance, advancing to the semi final.
Jada Stone took on Alisha Edwards in the second tournament match and won, advancing to the quarter finals against Jody Threat.
The two other quarter final matches are Indi Hartwell vs Thea Hail and Mara Sade vs Heather By Elegance.
The pre-sale for the WWE/AAA Worlds Collide premium live event is now live using the code ALLWWE on Ticketmaster.com.
The show will take place on Saturday, September 26 live from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois on the same day as the AEW All Out pay-per-view in neighboring Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
Tickets for Worlds Collide start at $57.10 and all the way up to $1065.55 for VIP ringside.
Judging from the seating chart, WWE has opened up pretty much the whole of Allstate Arena apart from behind the stage.
Mercedes Mone will be performing her first-ever DJ set at the Sweet Chin Disco All In Afterparty on August 30.
The CEO, who could be the new AEW Women’s champion after All In, will be performing at Crystal Club at Wembley immediately following the conclusion of All In. The party goes on until 2:15AM.
A limited number of VIP Meet & Greet packages with Mone are also available. The package includes event entry and photo only with Mercedes, taken on your own device. Mercedes will not be signing autographs at this event for security reasons. Meet & greets will take place during approximately the first 60–90 minutes of the event.
Fellow AEW star Lio Rush will also be at the event for a live performance.
SiriusXM and WWE have announced the launch of WWE Radio, the new official audio home of WWE.
Starting Monday, July 27, WWE Radio takes over SiriusXM channel 156, serving as the ultimate destination for WWE fans as it brings together SiriusXM’s popular daily programming, live audio broadcasts of the biggest WWE events and premier podcast content.
WWE Radio elevates SiriusXM’s wrestling offering by providing live play-by-play audio coverage of all of WWE’s biggest Premium Live Events including WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble and Survivor Series. In addition to these live event broadcasts, the channel will feature select audio simulcasts of WWE’s weekly flagship television programming, giving fans a way to follow the action from anywhere.
The launch comes ahead of SummerSlam weekend, when SiriusXM will produce WWE Radio’s first live event broadcast of the two-night event on-site in Minnesota on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2. Lead play-by-play announcer Vic Joseph will be joined by WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, as they call the action in and around the ring to SiriusXM listeners.

Several talent who were given the pink slip in late April by WWE are now officially free agents as their 90-day no-compete clause has expired.
While the 90-day clause prevents those who got terminated the ability to find immediate work elsewhere, it also guarantees their base salary for three months while they sit home doing nothing.
Those who are legally able to appear anywhere they please are Aleister Black, Alex Shelley, Bo Dallas, Chris Sabin, Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, Kairi, Nikki Cross, Santos Escobar, Zoey Stark, and Zelina Vega.
Escobar yesterday released a statement on social media, telling Nick and Paul, referring to WWE President Nick Khan and WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque, “Watch me!”
Two more matches were added to the AEW Redemption pay-per-view card for this weekend.
A six-way ladder match where the winner becomes the #1 contender for the AEW International title was announced by AEW President Tony Khan after Dynamite went off the air.
Jack Perry, Komander, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, and The Beast Mortos were all handpicked for the match, with the remaining two competitors having made to win a qualifying match on this week’s Collision.
The qualifiers will pit Nick Wayne vs AR Fox and Lio Rush vs El Clan. The winners will then advance to the Sunday ladder match.
Also, a chain match was also announced for the show, with Jay White and Juice Robinson of the Bang Bang Gang taking on David Finlay and Clark Connors of The Dogs.
The match comes after White defeated Connors on Dynamite last night and Khan also confirmed the match following the ending of the broadcast.
The July 13 episode of Raw on Netflix had 2,400,000 global views, down 100,000 views from the prior week and still below the year-to-date average.
Raw was #6 on the Netflix Top 10 global chart with 5,100,000 viewing hours, up slightly from the previous week based on an episode edited to 2 hours and 4 minutes.
The show was only in the top 10 chart in 10 different countries for the week, charting in Bahamas, Bahrain, Bolivia, Canada, India, Jamaica, Sri Lanka, Trinidad and Tobago, United Kingdom, and United States.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting through his Select service that according to WWE sources, Bayley has not signed a new deal yet.
There are several rumors suggesting that Bayley is on her way out and that was fueled more on Monday after Lyra Valkyria did an interview during commercials on Raw for the international broadcasts where she said she ran Bayley out of the company.
The two wrestled at Saturday Night’s Main Event, with Valkyria coming out on top.
The 37-year-old has been working with WWE uninterrupted since 2012 and is one of the longest-serving Superstars on the roster.
On her most recent post on Instagram, NXT star Kelani Jordan commented on her photo, writing, “Don’t leave,” with many women also commenting and praising the multi-time champion.
Sapp also adds that if she does indeed end up leaving, AEW will definitely be interested in her services and that would mean reuniting with her best friend Mercedes Mone.
It is believed that her WWE contract runs out in October.

AEW today announced the All In: Welcome To Wembley fan experience which will take place during the All In weekend at the Great Hall at Wembley Stadium.
The convention will open on Friday, August 28 from 11AM to 1:30PM and 2:30PM to 5PM, on Saturday, August 29 from 9AM to 11:30AM, Noon to 2:30PM and 3PM to 5:30PM.
Each session of All In: Welcome To Wembley will have a limited capacity, allowing those in attendance to experience AEW stars up close and personal.
Fans will have an opportunity to take a photograph with wrestlers, view rare AEW and talent memorabilia, get a photo taken with the AEW World Championship belt, purchase AEW All In: London merchandise before Sunday’s event and participate in partner activations with Upper Deck, Heavy’s, Shirt Farm and more.
In addition, a live DJ will host contests and giveaways, and fans will be treated to an exclusive preview scene from AEW Presents The Last Match.

Smackdown last Friday night drew 1,243,000 viewers, up 31,000 viewers from the previous week and the best number since May 22. The show had a 0.21 rating, a drop of 0.03 and their lowest since June 12. Smackdown was #1 on the top 50 cable chart for the night and #2 overall in all of television. As rumored for weeks, NXT had a new arrival yesterday in the form of former TNA champion Mike Santana.
Santana made his presence felt following the main event match where Tony D’Angelo defeated Naraku. The New York native came out from the stands and had a stare down with the NXT champion, suggesting that he already has his eyes on the gold.
Interestingly enough, Santana was never mentioned by name by the announcers although it was noted he’s a former TNA champion and even on the video screen there was no name written.
That usually means that he will undergo a name change and saying goodbye to the name he’s been wrestling under since 2017.
WWE announced that Darius Rucker, the singer/songwriter and lead vocalist of the rock band Hootie & the Blowfish, will be singing the American national anthem on SummerSlam Sunday.
He is currently on tour and will be performing in Indianapolis the night before.
Rucker has a merchandise licensing deal with WWE and released an apparel line titled the Darius Rucker Collection by Fanatics, featuring vintage-style tees and button-ups of several WWE Superstars which are sold via WWEShop.com.
AJ Styles sat down with Chris Van Vliet in Nashville, Tennessee to discuss his retirement match with Gunther at the Royal Rumble, why he didn’t wait until WrestleMania, if there were ever plans for a retirement tour, his phenomenal match with John Cena in Australia, being inducted into the Hall of Fame, his son Avery Styles following in his footsteps, if he really is done with wrestling, and more!
So, how’s retirement treating you?
“Oh, wow. It’s funny, because I think I’m gone a little bit more than I was when I was actually working. I don’t know how that works, but to get the chance to go down to the Performance Center and work with those men and women down there, it’s pretty awesome. It scratches that itch, and being involved with Evolve is awesome. I produced a couple of matches, which I didn’t think I’d enjoy, but I love it. I’ve heard this is how it all starts, you start producing, the next thing you know, you get heavily involved with certain kind of things. But it’s really cool to be working with the young talent and the light bulb going off. I’m trying to give my moves away, like, ‘Hey, try this, try this, try this, try this, I’m not gonna use it anymore.’ I’m having fun.”
How long had you been thinking about retiring?
“Well, I was gonna retire before the Royal Rumble at WrestleMania [41], but I just come back from my foot injury, and it just didn’t seem right. I was feeling kind of good, actually. Once I got my foot back in order, I was like, man, and there was some like, I don’t know. I’m sure money was a thing, because I didn’t ask for more money, I just wanted to extend it. But then again, they did right by me, paying me well, and so I know that was an issue. But then we finally got that in order, and I was like, all right, here we go. I’m not saying I didn’t get weird near the end of knowing I was going to retire or leave WWE; I got weird, dude.”
In what way?
“I just was questioning everything. A normal, sane AJ Styles would not question this; it would just be what it is. Even the moment where I found out Gunther was in the Royal Rumble, and I think that it had already been explained that he was in the Royal Rumble, and that I got this match, but I was like, what the freak? I think I made Triple H feel awful about, oh man, I didn’t think about that. When reality is, nobody thought about that; nobody did. Nobody cared, even when Gunther came out at the Royal Rumble and got beat. In fact, it should have made more sense that he got beat because he was in the ring with AJ Styles. He got exhausted in that match, of course he’s not going to win the Royal Rumble. So I just got weird, man. So, my apologies to everyone who I acted that way, and I was just in a weird state of mind.”
Do you miss it?
“I don’t miss falling down, I don’t miss getting hurt, I don’t miss any of that, but you’re always going to miss that part of the excitement that you’re about to go to the ring and have a great match. You’re going to miss that, that’s just the high you don’t get from anything else. But again, I get to go down the Performance Center and scratch that itch and just throw myself into helping these performers down at the PC get better.”
I think when you said that you were going to have your final match in 2026, nobody expected it to be in January of 2026. Why not push it to WrestleMania? Why not have your last match at WrestleMania this year?
“That wasn’t my pay-per-view or PLE. That’s not where I started. For me to be able to debut and then end it at the Royal Rumble, and I don’t care that it was in Saudi Arabia, it’s still the Royal Rumble. That meant something to me. I know there’s people who have WrestleMania as their big PLE, but mine was the Royal Rumble.”
I think the general consensus is the match that you had with John Cena was his best match during his retirement tour. So what went into planning that match? What was the idea behind that match?
“Well, it was the opportunity to throw back to every guy that we ever wrestled that meant a lot to us, and that’s all it was. I mean, we didn’t have much of a story, so we had to tell one in the ring. I’m pretty sure I wasn’t supposed to wrestle him. I don’t care what anybody says. I don’t know who called it, but I know that I wasn’t in the picture. Something else needed to happen. I don’t know what that was, someone’s gonna have to tell that story, because I don’t know. I’m just positive that I wasn’t the guy that was supposed to wrestle him.”
Was there a move that you did during that match, or he did that you were like, I don’t know if I can do that. I don’t know.
“So, Fade to Black, shout out to Frankie Kazarian. Yeah, and I’ve never done that move before, and I told John, I said, ‘I don’t know if I can do it. He’s like, ‘Yeah, you can. I’m just gonna tuck my face into your butt hole, and it’ll be fine.’ We watch it back, and I was like, ‘Freak, that’s great.’ Even I think Triple H said something like, ‘I don’t know, man.’ So it turned out to look really good, as far as I know, from what I saw. There was a point in there where they were chanting ‘619, 619’ because they knew what we were doing at this point. So the ref walks over, and he goes ‘619.’ Me to John? ‘No, John’s going to 619 you?’ John’s going to 619 me?! All right. So I sell over there, he gives me the drop toe hold. I heard him go, ‘Stop me before I get to you.’ I didn’t say anything. He goes, ‘Hey, stop me as I go for this.’ I didn’t say anything. ‘Stop me before I get to this!’ He yelled. I go, okay. He goes, and I clothesline him. I joke around, maybe if John would have tried the 619, it may have turned into the 61. I’m not sure. So that was just kind of funny to me at that time, but for people to understand what we were doing in that match, once they got the gist of it, I thought it was really cool, and to end it with the tombstone that nobody does was pretty freaking cool, right up to his finisher. I was like, wow, that was fun.”
Was there ever talk earlier on in the year of you having a match with John Cena on his farewell tour?
“Nothing, never a talk of me having a match with John. Listen, I just assume I’m not that guy. I’m not that guy. Sometimes I feel like even though I’ve been in WWE for 10 years, I’m not a WWE guy. So, and that was just one of those times.”
Did you think about having a retirement tour?
“No, not at all. I didn’t need one. It was perfectly fine the way I was doing it. In fact, not a lot of people do. So I saw Cody and John calling their match at WrestleMania, I believe it was the one that I was supposed to retire at, and I kind of went up to him and I go, ‘Hey, this is to us in our last WrestleManias.’ He’s like, huh? I was like, yeah, this is it. So it was kind of cool to be there for his last run, and I credit John for that. It wasn’t about the tour; it was about making money for WWE and him getting his flowers at the same time.”
Are you done-done? We all know how wrestling retirements work.
“That’s right, but I have said this before, and I’ll say it again. Usually we’re granted one comeback for one match. I’m not saying it’s gonna happen. I’m just saying usually it’s granted. Never say never.”
TMZ.COM is reporting that Tom Brady is currently in negotiations with WWE, which might suggest why he did the angle with Logan Paul last weekend at Fanatics Fest.
Brady slapped Paul during a face off and were held apart from each other by other individuals. Paul cannot get really physical as he recently underwent surgery for a torn triceps.
But the two have been going at it for a while, first on Paul’s Impaulsive podcast and then during a Fanatics-sponsored flag match.
There were rumors that Brady would play a part at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas but that was not meant to be.
The third season of WWE: Unreal on Netflix premiered today worldwide.
Season three has five episodes, each marked with a one hour run time. The episodes are titled The Why, The Last Time is Now, Rise & Rumble, Life Happens, and The Grandest Stage.
The third season will heavily focus on John Cena’s final match against Gunther and the return of AJ Lee.
Apart from Cena and Lee, Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan, CM Punk, Trick Williams, Lash Legend, Stephanie Vaquer, Oba Femi, Bron Breakker, Chelsea Green, Matt Cardona, Seth Rollins, and Becky Lynch will all be featured in the new season.
The season three synopsis reads, “John Cena says goodbye, a fan favorite returns, and the next generation of Superstars rise to the occasion. WWE: Unreal takes viewers inside the writers’ room as injuries, last-minute pivots, and career-defining decisions reshape WWE’s biggest season yet heading into WrestleMania 42.”
