Wrestling and sports betting may not have seemed like a natural pair a decade ago, but in the US today, the intersection between WWE entertainment and betting is rapidly expanding. As legal sports betting grows across the country, WWE fans are increasingly turning to sportsbooks to add a layer of excitement to their viewing experience. According to recent industry reports, the US sports betting market is projected to surpass $20 billion in annual wagers by 2025, and the inclusion of wrestling events is becoming a notable niche within this expanding ecosystem.
Unlike traditional sports like football or basketball, WWE offers a unique blend of scripted drama and athletic performance, presenting intriguing betting opportunities that appeal to a wide range of bettors — from casual fans to seasoned sharp bettors. This article explores how wrestling betting is evolving in the US, the types of wagers fans are placing, and why crypto sportsbooks like bet105 are gaining popularity among this growing audience.
Understanding Wrestling Betting Markets
Wrestling betting markets have developed their own specialized features compared to mainstream sports betting. WWE fans can wager on a variety of outcomes beyond just the winner of a match. Popular bet types include:
Match winners and losers
Prop bets on specific in-match events such as pinfalls, submissions, or interference
Futures bets on championship reign lengths or tournament winners
Special stipulation bets like cage matches or Hell in a Cell outcomes
Because WWE storylines are scripted but unpredictable in terms of timing and twists, bettors must balance knowledge of wrestling narratives with traditional betting analysis techniques. This fusion makes wrestling betting attractive for sharp bettors who enjoy using advanced strategies such as EV betting — calculating expected value based on probabilities — to maximize their long-term gains.
The Legal Landscape for Wrestling Betting in the US
Since the Supreme Court struck down the federal ban on sports betting in 2018, many US states have legalized betting with varying regulations. While most legal sportsbooks focus on major sports leagues, an increasing number now offer wrestling betting markets due to fan demand.
However, regulatory frameworks remain complex, leading some bettors to seek offshore sportsbooks that accept US players. Offshore sportsbooks provide access to a broader range of wrestling bets, often with more flexible terms. Many of these platforms operate with reduced juice sportsbooks models, meaning they charge lower vigorish, resulting in better odds and higher potential payouts for bettors.
This environment has also encouraged the growth of crypto sportsbooks — betting sites that accept cryptocurrencies exclusively. These platforms provide a higher degree of privacy and convenience, appealing especially to bettors wary of traditional KYC (know-your-customer) procedures.
How Crypto and Reduced Juice Sportsbooks Are Changing the Game
Crypto sportsbooks offer a compelling alternative to conventional betting sites. By allowing wagers in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, these sportsbooks reduce friction in deposits and withdrawals, enabling faster transactions without geographic restrictions. For US bettors interested in wrestling, this means easier access to betting markets that might otherwise be limited by local laws.
Reduced juice sportsbooks have another key advantage: lower margins. Traditional sportsbooks often apply a standard vig that can erode bettors’ profits over time. Reduced juice sportsbooks minimize this cut, offering sharper odds that attract professional gamblers and arbitrage bettors alike. This creates an ideal setting for those who focus on EV betting and seek long-term profitability rather than chasing bonuses or gimmicks.
Bet105: A Premier Crypto Sportsbook for Wrestling Bettors
Among the rising crypto sportsbooks catering to sharp bettors is bet105, a crypto betting site tailored for players who prioritize privacy, speed, and competitive odds. Bet105 is a crypto-only sportsbook operating with a no-KYC model, meaning it offers maximum privacy by not requiring identity verification — a feature highly valued by many bettors.
What sets bet105 apart is its focus on reduced juice, which means bettors enjoy significantly better odds compared to many competitors. By avoiding bonus-heavy promotions, bet105 keeps its margins low and provides a straightforward, no-nonsense betting experience.
Bet105 also welcomes winning players, an important distinction since some sportsbooks limit or ban successful bettors. With fast deposits and withdrawals, no player limits, and a streamlined crypto-only approach, bet105 attracts a sophisticated clientele, including arbitrage bettors and pro gamblers who want the best possible edge when wagering on wrestling and other sports.
Tips for Successful Wrestling Betting
While wrestling outcomes are scripted, successful bettors treat WWE betting with a blend of entertainment insight and betting strategy. Here are some considerations:
Research storylines and wrestler momentum to anticipate possible outcomes.
Look for reduced juice sportsbooks to maximize value on your bets.
Use EV betting principles to evaluate the true worth of odds offered.
Consider arbitrage betting opportunities when available, leveraging odds differences across multiple sportsbooks.
Manage your bankroll carefully, treating wrestling betting as a long-term game rather than a quick profit scheme.
As wrestling betting grows in popularity, more bettors are discovering that smart approaches combined with access to top-tier sportsbooks can turn watching WWE into a profitable hobby.
Conclusion
The rise of wrestling betting in the US reflects broader trends in sports gambling — legalization, technological innovation, and evolving fan engagement. WWE fans now have the opportunity to enhance their viewing experience by wagering on their favorite events with more sophistication than ever before.
Crypto sportsbooks like bet105 are uniquely positioned to serve this growing audience, offering privacy, fast transactions, and reduced juice odds that appeal to sharp bettors and professional gamblers alike. Whether you’re a casual fan or a seasoned bettor, understanding the dynamics of wrestling betting and choosing the right platform can make a significant difference.
With the expansion of legal markets and the continuous innovation of offshore and crypto sportsbooks, the future of WWE betting in the US looks brighter than ever.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has once again urged the powers that be in WWE to bring WrestleMania to London.
Appearing on CNBC during the SXSW London 2025 conference, the mayor addressed WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H directly.
“Triple H, if you’re watching, we want WrestleMania to come to London,” Khan said.
Khan told CNBC that if WrestleMania makes it to London, they won’t have just a great weekend, but they’d have a festival.
“I think the potential has not been reached in terms of WrestleMania. We are the sporting capital, in my view, of the world. And if WrestleMania wants to expand, the obvious place to come is London,” he continued.
Triple H and WWE President Nick Khan already met with the mayor last year to discuss the possibility of bringing Mania overseas, although Triple H stressed that moving such an event across the Atlantic would be a huge undertaking.

A blockbuster match will take place at All In: Texas as Kenny Omega will battle Kazuchika Okada in a winner takes all match.
Omega and Okada have one of the biggest rivalries in the history of the business and they will run it back next month, with both the AEW International and AEW Continental titles on the line.
There have been rumors that these two titles will be combined eventually and it looks like they’re pulling the trigger at All In.
This will be the first time that Omega and Okada will face each other since June 2018.
It’s the third match announced so far for All In: Texas.
All Out, the upcoming AEW pay-per-view set for September 20, has started on the right track when it comes to ticket sales as the company has already moved over 7,000 tickets with over 3 months left to go for the show.
The pay-per-view has moved out from the Chicago area for the first time and will be held at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.
While the arena holds nearly 18,000 seats, the current setup is for half of that according to @WrestleTix but if ticket sales continue this way, they will have plenty of room to expand to meet the demand. Last year’s All Out had 8,600 in attendance, so this will definitely surpass last year’s show.
The company packed almost 14,000 fans in 2023 for the Forbidden Door pay-per-view in the same location.
Tickets for All Out start from CA $52 including fees and taxes. There are also Me+3 4-pack offers and an 5-plus pack offer with cheaper tickets if bought together in specific sections.
