WWE Superstar Natalya is returning to Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport during SummerSlam weekend in New Jersey.
Natalya will face TNA Knockouts champion Masha Slamovich on the show after the two started trading insults on social media.
Nattie posted on X that she was grateful to all the women she competed with following Evolution and Slamovich asked her if she was grateful for the women out there waiting to beat her.
“If you both are so willing to fight then I’ve got the perfect place for it,” Barnett wrote. “Let’s see who gets first blood Aug 2nd.”
Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIV, promoted by GCW, will take place at the Williams Center in Rutherford, New Jersey on SummerSlam Saturday. It will have an afternoon start time not to go head-to-head with the WWE PLE.
For the first time since the Raw after WrestleMania 41 episode, Roman Reigns returned on WWE television to save Jey Uso and CM Punk from an attack by Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker in the main event of Monday Night Raw.
With Uso and Punk getting whooped and about to get a tsunami splash from Reed, Reigns’ music hit the speakers and the crowd exploded.
Reigns entered the ring and knocked Reed out with a Superman punch and then took down Breakker with ground and pound. Reed went back in and received a Samoan drop for his trouble. Reigns hit a Superman punch on Breakker and then speared Reed.
With the heels out, Reigns extended his hand to Jey Uso and helped him up as Punk looked on. Punk extended his hand but Reigns did not help him, letting Punk get up on his own.
The last time Reigns was on, he and CM Punk were attacked by Seth Rollins, Breakker, and Reed to close out Raw After Mania.
Two more title matches were made official for SummerSlam which is just 18 days away.
New WWE Women’s World champion Naomi, who won the title at Evolution after she cashed in her Money In The Bank contract, will defend her gold against Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match. Naomi kicked off Raw last night and was met by her two challengers during her promo, each of them vying for a title shot.
Raw General Manager Adam Pearce then came out to sort the mess and made the triple threat match official.
Former NXT Women’s and Women’s Intercontinental champion Lyra Valkyria will also get a rematch against Becky Lynch for the title in a one-on-one match. Valkyria defeated Bayley in a two-out-of-three falls match on Raw to earn the title shot.
Lynch, Valkyria, and Bayley had a triple threat match at Evolution for the title but Lynch came out victorious after she pinned Bayley.
CM Punk became the number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight title after he won a gauntlet match last night on Raw.
But it was Bron Breakker who was the star of the match, defeating Penta, LA Knight, and Jey Uso in succession before Punk entered the ring. At that point, Breakker was already in the ring for over 30 minutes and the match against Punk lasted around 10 more minutes before he lost with the GTS.
The match had interference from Bronson Reed and again from Jey Uso who returned to even the odds for Punk. Punk and Jey were getting their ass handed to them until Roman Reigns returned to make the save!
Punk will now face Gunther at SummerSlam for the title, his second title shot in a row after he lost to John Cena for the WWE title at Night of Champions in late June.
A number one contender’s gauntlet match for the WWE World Heavyweight title has been booked for tonight’s Raw.
The match will feature five of the most popular WWE Superstars today: CM Punk, Jey Uso, LA Knight, Penta, and Bron Breakker.
The winner of this gauntlet match will face champion Gunther at SummerSlam. Gunther retained his title on Saturday against Goldberg in Goldberg’s farewell match, putting the WWE Hall of Famer to sleep.
Seth Rollins would have surely been part of the creative for the title heading into SummerSlam but his unfortunate injury on Saturday puts him out of action for months to come.
Lilian Garcia was supposed to pull double duty this past weekend, announcing Saturday Night’s Main Event and Evolution, but she fell ill on Sunday and could not make it to the show.
“I was so excited to be announcing @wwe Saturday Nights Main Event and @wwe Evolution this weekend but because of lingering effects of a respiratory infection I got some weeks ago, I was only able to announce SNME last night before my voice started wigging out,” Garcia wrote in a post on social media.
Raw ring announcer Alicia Taylor replied Garcia for the premium live event yesterday, with Garcia thanking her for stepping up to do the show.
Garcia added that she was excited to celebrate all the women involved.
AEW Women’s champion Toni Storm made an appearance at an indie show in Portland, Oregon yesterday, just 24 hours after she successfully defended the AEW Women’s title against Mercedes Mone at All In: Texas.
The rare indie appearance came at Prestige Wrestling’s Combat Clash 2025 and while she did not wrestle, she cut a promo in the middle of the ring and also introduced the next match.
Storm was alone though and her butler Luther was nowhere to be seen because of a medical emergency.
“Would you like to know what happened to Luther? You want me to tell you the truth? Luther broke his penis off,” Storm told the crowd. “No…he did. He just completely snapped it right off!”
She said that it was Luther who insisted that she appears on the show, telling her that’s where the real magic happens.
“Frankly, I just assumed that he was talking about a weed dispensary,” she continued. “But this is close enough, to be honest!”
WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque was coy on committing to a yearly Evolution premium live event when asked about it during the post-show press conference.
He said that as the demand for their women grows every day, it becomes less about a stand alone show, and more about equality.
“I don’t want to say it’s yearly, it’s not yearly. I think we see what that demand is for it,” he said. “They don’t have to have their show to be in the spotlight. But if it works, we’ll definitely go down that road again. It’s a ‘we shall see.'”
Triple H added that the women’s roster inspire people every day of the week so there doesn’t have to be one particular night to showcase their talent.
“They’re role models, they’re inspiring people, they’re changing their lives. That sounds dramatic to some degree, but that is the kind of thing they do,” he continued.
The Evolution premium live event yesterday had over 8,000 fans in attendance following strong sales over the previous few days.
The show was going to end up as one of the least-attended WWE special events in recent years, thanks in part of being on the tail-end of a busy wrestling weekend and going head-to-head with a Beyonce concert just across the street at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Ticket tracking service @WrestleTix listed 8,303 tickets out just before the show started, which is around 1,700 less than the first-ever Evolution back in 2018.
The State Farm Arena still looked packed on television and the fans were up for a good night, being vocal for the majority of the show.
Seth Rollins is in Birmingham, Alabama and is set to undergo an MRI at Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center to determine the extent of the injury he suffered on Saturday during his match against LA Knight.
Speaking about it during the post-Evolution press conference, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H said that the injury is “inconclusive” but does not look good.
“He came here tonight, he was not going to miss his wife’s performance tonight…we’ll get an MRI and hope for the best, see where we can go with that,” he said.
Rollins was backstage at the show and needed the assist of crutches to move around.
The injury occurred when Rollins tried to hit a second rope springboard moonsault on Knight, who rolled away and Rollins landed on his feet, but immediately clutched his right knee. He tried standing on it but could not and then moved to the corner to talk to Paul Heyman and referee Jessika Carr. The match abruptly ended when Knight hit the BFT, pinning him clean.

Stephanie Vaquer earned a women’s title match at Clash In Paris next month after she won the 20-woman Evolution battle royal last night.
The former NXT Women’s champion will now have to choose either to go after Tiffany Stratton’s WWE Women’s title or Naomi’s WWE Women’s World title, although the champions could be different by the time the show comes around.
The Chilean star was in the final four with Nia Jax, Nikki Bella, and Lash Legend. Bella was the first one out after Legend eliminated her and Jax was eliminated by both Legend and Vaquer. Vaquer eliminated Legend after a Devil’s Kiss on the apron, simply rolling her out after she finished her famous move.
The battle royal also featured Alba Fyre, B-Fab, Candice LeRae, Chelsea Green, Giulia, Izzi Dame, Ivy Nile, Jaida Parker, Kelani Jordan, Lola Vice, Maxxine Dupri, Michin, Natalya, Piper Niven, Tatum Paxley, and Zelina Vega.
Proceed with caution, because there’s a new WWE Women’s World champion in town!
Naomi successfully cashed in her Money In The Bank briefcase yesterday during the main event of Evolution, turning the Iyo Sky vs Rhea Ripley match into a triple threat.
With both champion and challenger down following a Spanish Fly, Naomi entered the arena and the announcement was made that she was cashing in. She first hit Sky with the briefcase and disposed of Ripley from the ring. Naomi then performed her split-leg moonsault finisher on Sky and pinned her for the title change.
Naomi had just been defeated by Jade Cargill in a no holds barred match earlier in the broadcast, but had the same outcome as Seth Rollins when he cashed in his first MITB briefcase at WrestleMania 31, losing to Randy Orton first and then winning the title at the end of the night.
Sky’s reign lasted 133 days and this is Naomi first singles title in WWE since 2017 when she held the Smackdown Women’s title.
Here are the results from last night’s WWE Evolution premium live event which took place from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
Becky Lynch defeated Bayley and Lyra Valkyria in a triple threat match to retain the WWE Women’s Intercontinental title; Jacy Jayne defeated Jordynne Grace to retain the NXT Women’s title; Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez defeated Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, Asuka and Kairi Sane, and Sol Ruca and Zaria in a fatal four-way tag team match to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles; Tiffany Stratton defeated Trish Stratus to retain the WWE Women’s title; Jade Cargill defeated Naomi in a no holds barred match; Stephanie Vaquer won the Evolution battle royal to earn a title shot at Clash In Paris; Iyo Sky vs Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World title turned into a three-way match when Naomi cashed in her Money In The Bank briefcase and won the title.
The NBC broadcast of Saturday Night’s Main Event faded to black as Goldberg started addressing the crowd following his loss to Gunther in his final wrestling match.
But today, WWE posted the full speech by Goldberg, who was surrounded by family members and friends in the ring.
Goldberg signed off by telling fans to treat everybody with respect no matter the race or religion.
“You treat every single human being with respect. And if I did anything in my career, I honored that,” Goldberg said. “And I try to pass that down.”
Goldberg said it’s been one hell of a ride and there’s never going to be another Goldberg…except for his son Gage.
Former WWE champion Cody Rhodes joined the party after Goldberg finished his speech and thanked Goldberg on behalf of everyone in the locker room for making the table so they can eat good today. Rhodes described Goldberg as wrestling and Georgia royalty and then led the crowd to one final Goldberg chant.
Multiple industry insiders are reporting that Adam Cole received a concussion from a Kyle Fletcher lariat on Thursday during Collision.
The planned TNT title match was still a go on Friday according to AEW President Tony Khan but discussions with Cole later in the night and then during yesterday morning changed the course of the match.
Khan revealed during the post-show media scrum that Cole was not feeling well yesterday morning and he made the decision to pull the plug and vacate the TNT title, putting on a replacement match instead.
Cole has a history of concussions and it’s a problem that has kept him on the sidelines in AEW for long months in the past.
A very emotional Cole had a goodbye speech at All In yesterday, although he said he’s not thinking about retirement just yet. Cole cried throughout his speech, suggesting that this was it for him.
Several of his peers also paid tribute to the former leader of the Undisputed Era on social media, with the likes of Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Alistair Black, Christopher Daniels, Alan Angels, Britt Baker, and others all putting over Cole.
A few surprises are expected to be part of the Evolution battle royal tonight even though WWE already announced 20 participants.
Multiple talent have alluded that there will be surprise entrants but the company has not revealed how many entrants in total will be part of this battle royal.
So far scheduled to be part of the match are Alba Fyre, B-Fab, Candice LeRae, Chelsea Green, Giulia, Izzi Dame, Ivy Nile, Jaida Parker, Kelani Jordan, Lash Legend, Lola Vice, Maxxine Dupri, Michin, Natalya, Nia Jax, Nikki Bella, Piper Niven, Stephanie Vaquer, Tatum Paxley, and Zelina Vega.
The winner of this battle royal will move on to Clash in Paris and receive a women’s title shot.
While the attendance for All In: Texas was never announced during the six-hour broadcast, AEW President Tony Khan revealed in the post-show media scrum that after walk-ups, the show will hover close to 30,000.
All In experienced a late surge in ticket sales, especially in the last two weeks, and had a strong final few days which bumped the number from low 20s to high 20s.
This is AEW’s largest-ever attendance in the United States with a gate set to be over $3 million, another record for AEW in the U.S.
The first two All In shows from London’s Wembley Stadium remain the company’s biggest and highest-grossing so far, with over 80,000 and 50,000 in attendance respectively.
Khan also said that early pay-per-view numbers suggest that this will be their biggest show ever in terms of buyrate but stopped short of giving any indications. Last year’s All In had an estimated 170,000 buys.
There were a few returns and debuts at All In: Texas yesterday.
A clean-shaven Juice Robinson, barely recognizable, was part of the men’s Casino Gauntlet battle royal. It was his first appearance since November 2024 due to an injury.
Austin and Colton Gunn of The Gunn Club also made their presence felt during the match, coming to the aid of their Bang Bang Gang teammate after Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun interfered on behalf of Ricochet. This was their first time on AEW TV since February.
Harley Cameron interfered in the women’s Casino Gauntlet match, sporting a face mask following nose surgery several weeks ago.
Former IWGP Women’s champion Syuri made her AEW debut during the same match and came out as the 11th entrant. A vignette for her arrival aired the night before on ROH’s Supercard of Honor. The Stardom star is expected to stick around for a while after she lost her IWGP Women’s title to Sareee last month.
Alex Windsor also returned, this time as a full-time member of the AEW roster, after her appearance on ROH Global Wars: Australia in February. Windsor was the 12th and final entrant in the Casino Gauntlet match. The British star is the partner of Will Ospreay and signed with the company in June.
As reported earlier, Cope returned after three months out and came to the aid of his former tag team partner Christian Cage.
Fresh off his successful Mount Everest climb, daredevil Darby Allin returned for his first appearance since December of last year and was involved in the final moments of the All In main event. Allin came to make Moxley’s life more complicated and was lowered to the ring from the very top of Globe Life Field ala Sting.
Bryan Danielson was another star who interfered in the main event, going for revenge against The Death Riders who effectively ended his career last October. Danielson showed up with a Blue Panther mask and took out Wheeler Yuta with a Busiaku Kick and then hit Gabe Kidd and Claudio Castagnoli with the Yes kicks.
Also, Josh Mathews made his first on-camera appearance for AEW during the Zero Hour broadcast and JoJo Offerman was part of Swerve Strickland’s entrance.
TNA Knockouts champion Masha Slamovich appeared at NXT Great American Bash yesterday, taking out Jazmyn Nyx after she interfered in the main event tag team match.
Slamovich showed up, with the title around her waist, and brawled with Nyx to even the odds for Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe. Grace and Monroe eventually won the match, with Monroe pinning the NXT Women’s champion.
Jacy Jayne now defends her title against Grace at tonight’s Evolution and the winner of this match will have a date with Masha Slamovich at next week’s TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view where both the NXT Women’s and TNA Knockouts title will be on the line.
Other TNA stars Joe Hendry and Mike Santana were also part of the TNA World title contract signing angle and TNA President Carlos Silva was sitting at ringside.
