Four more matches announced for All Out 2026
A couple of more matches were added to the All Out 2026 pay-per-view last night on Dynamite.
AEW International champion Kazuchika Okada will defend his title against Tommaso Ciampa while former AEW Trios champions Hangman Page, Bandido and Brody King will go for the titles again, currently their match set against The New Level and Swerve Strickland. The reigning champions must overcome The Demand next week on Dynamite before they book their spot on the pay-per-view.
Two eliminator matches will also take place, with Willow Nightingale facing Thekla with the winner facing Mercedes Mone for the AEW Women’s title and Darby Allin teams with Steven Borden to battle Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher with the winners advancing to wrestle whoever are the AEW Tag Team champions.
The card so far features seven matches, with more to be added in the next week.
Three teams announced for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic
Three tag teams have been announced for the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
These include current NXT Tag Team champions Vanity Project, former NXT Tag Team champions The Creed Brothers, and AAA Tag Team champions El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno.
In total, 14 tag teams from NXT, Raw, Smackdown, AAA, and EVOLVE will be part of this tournament, which returns on television after an absence of one year.
Women’s tournaments were also held in 2021 and 2022 but there was no mention for one this year so far.
Tournament winners usually receive an NXT Tag Team title shot in the future.
Allstate Arena lists first four matches for WWE/AAA Worlds Collide
The Allstate Arena has seemingly jumped the gun on the matches for the upcoming WWE/AAA Worlds Collide premium live event set for later this month.
While WWE has not officially announced any matches, the arena is advertising four matches, including:
- CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, and El Grande Americano vs Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, and Omos in a six man tag team match
- Penta and Rey Fenix vs Perros Del Mal
- Las Toxicas vs Fatal Influence in a six-woman tag team match
- Dragon Lee vs Jack Cartwheel
The site notes that more matches will be announced for the show.
WWE has sold over 11,000 tickets so far for Worlds Collide with zero matches officially on the card.
Raw views for 09/09/2026
The September 7 episode of Raw was back in the Netflix top 10 global chart, drawing 2,600,000 global viewing hours. The August 31 episode was not on the chart but was up 100,000 from the previous week.
The show was #7 for the week worldwide, with 4,500,000 global viewing hours based on an episode edited down to 1 hour and 38 minutes.
Raw was in the top 10 chart in 17 different countries, including Bahamas, Bahrain, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, India, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Trinidad and Tobago, United Kingdom, and United States.
AEW secures media rights deal with Hulu in Japan
AEW announced that Hulu in Japan will be their new broadcast partner in the country starting in November.
Hulu Japan will be carrying Dynamite, Collision, and all of AEW’s pay-per-view events as part of the deal to the approximately three million subscribers.
AEW previously aired on NJPW World but the company exited that agreement following the launch of the MyAEW streaming service.
Nippon TV, which owns Hulu in Japan, recently announced a deal to bring HBO Max to the service starting from October 1, giving the standard tier free to Hulu Japan subscribers at no extra charge.
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic returning to NXT from next week
After an absence of one year, the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament is returning to NXT starting from next week with two first-round matches.
The brackets will be revealed later this week with tag teams from NXT, Raw, Smackdown, EVOLVE, and AAA all participating.
The announcement of the 14-team tournament was made by NXT General Manager Robert Stone in a backstage segment.
The tournament did not take place last year, with Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin the last winners in the 2024 tournament, defeating Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams in the final.
The concept was introduced in 2015 and was held every year except for 2017, 2023, and last year.
Mason Rook becomes number one contender for NXT title
A new number one contender for the NXT title emerged last night following the NXT on The CW broadcast.
A triple threat match was held between Tony D’Angelo, Saquon Shugars, and Mason Rook to determine who will move on to face champion Grayson Waller next. The trio won a six-man tag team match last week to advance to this number one contender’s match.
It was British star Mason Rook who came out victorious, pinning the former NXT champion D’Angelo after a top rope splash.
The match between the two doesn’t have a date or place yet, with the next NXT PLE set for Halloween Havoc on October 31.
All Out 2026 at the NOW Arena sold out
Ticketmaster is all out of All Out 2026 tickets, with AEW selling out the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates despite head-to-head competition from WWE with Worlds Collide on the same day at the same time in a neighboring area.
Only limited number of verified resale tickets are available for purchase, with the get in price of $141.91 before taxes.
All Out is headlined by AEW World champion Will Ospreay defending against Jon Moxley.
The sell out represents around 9,000 tickets distributed for the event, with more potentially being open once production is figured out.
Just a few miles away, WWE will host the Worlds Collide show at the larger Allstate Arena, with the company now at over 11,000 tickets distributed. CM Punk will be part of the show but has not been officially announced for a match yet.

Lil Yachty sat down with Chris Van Vliet in Atlanta, Georgia to discuss his WWE debut against Baron Corbin at Sunday Night’s Main Event, how much he hurt after the match, his real life friendship with Trick Williams, if he wants to wrestle more matches, being a massive CM Punk fan growing up, being referenced by Eminem in a song, Michael Cole being a fan of his music, and more!
We’re sitting here a day after Sunday Night’s Main Event. How are you feeling?
“I feel like sh*t. I feel like someone hit me with a bag of bricks.”
What hurts the most?
“My kneecaps. But when I woke up this morning, my shoulder felt dislocated. My kneecaps, my shins. I couldn’t even tighten my hand. As the day goes on, everything’s loosening up. When I first sat up in bed, it was the most pain I ever felt in my life. Shins, knees, whatever this is behind the kneecap, my back, my lower back. I feel like I’m wrestling for 20 years. Man, it’s bad.”
What was the spot that hurt the most?
“The clothesline. I came in, I hit him with the kendo, and I charged up to give him another one, and he gave me that clothesline. It’s so funny because my entire life, I wondered what a clothesline felt like, because JBL used to make them look so disgusting. The clothesline from hell looked so excruciating. So I always wondered what they felt like, and I always wanted to take one. I don’t think that was anywhere near JBL’s, but it hurt so much. When he first did it, I thought I wasn’t gonna be able to finish. I could not breathe at all; that was not selling. I think that was a receipt for me hitting him with that microphone, but I don’t know. It hurt so bad, bro. Then when he threw me at the barricade, that sh*t really hurt too.”
It seems like you’ve built a real friendship now with Trick Williams. When we pulled up to the house here, Trick drove you here.
“That is like my brother. That relationship, I couldn’t have paid for it. I couldn’t have asked for it. That was like dropped down from God. I couldn’t have asked for that friendship, man. That guy, he’s been the most positive influence on my life I’ve ever had, and I’ve always wanted an older brother like that. He’s really helped change my life for the better. Not only with the wrestling stuff and the opportunity, I’m grateful for that too. But off camera, just my health and training, and just the way he lives his life. I come from rap. It’s dark. We live a different life. I’m up all night. It’s a lot of drugs and women, and it’s just a different lifestyle. With Trick it is really routine, schedule, really healthy, really clean, on point, just a structured guy. Just being around him has really reshifted my brain in so many ways of life that he would never even know or understand because it’s just an image I haven’t had around being in studios with rappers and in the club or whatever. Just the way he lives has shifted me.”
We have to talk about the gingerbread man. How did this idea get pitched to you?
“So funny, it was not supposed to work. I remember when me and Trick got in, we were like, man, y’all sure? But then we just tried to make the most of it. When I got the gingerbread shirt printed and we did the song, and we were really clowning him [Sami Zayn]. Funny enough, they didn’t actually pitch Gingerbread Man. That was something we said, because he was ginger. Just me and Trick clowning and calling him Gingerbread Man. Then I got the gingerbread cookies and we just had fun with it. Me and Trick, we always get on the phone or text and sh*t, be together and we just think of ideas. How we gonna say this? What we gonna do? We’ll spend the whole day in my dressing room just trying to figure out how we gonna clown, or what jokes we gonna make, and it just stuck, and then it turned into a thing, and it was so fun.”
I thought the Gingerbread Man funeral was so funny, and the fact that the face of the Gingerbread Man looks completely different now that he was gone.
“It was so silly. It was so silly. I mean, again, people forget it’s entertainment, and it’s supposed to be funny. It’s supposed to be fun, and yeah, it’s good wrestling, but it’s entertainment and fun and have fun, man. Don’t be so uptight. Sometimes I be thinking it’s like, damn, you just want a card full of five-star matches.”

“I had to practice that, bro. They had to pad my feet up so I could push. I don’t have the abs for that. That’s ab work, man. Shout out to the Undertaker. That’s ab work, sitting up.”
Dynamite rating for 09/09/2026
Dynamite took a big hit in its audience last Wednesday going up against the first game of the new NFL season. The show had 571,000 viewers, down 225,000 viewers from the prior episode. The show had a 0.10 rating in 18-49, down 0.05 from the previous week.
Nearly 50,000 fans attend WWE shows in Mexico City over the weekend
WWE boasted on Raw last night that their three events at Arena CDMX over the weekend drew a total of 49,017 fans.
The attendance number reflects the Smackdown on Friday, September 11, the AAA Triplemania 34 night two on Sunday, September 13, and Raw on Monday, September 14.
WWE had not taped an episode of their television series in Mexico since October 2011 when Raw and Smackdown were held at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City.
Last night’s Raw also saw Roman Reigns wrestle on their weekly TV show for the first time since the Raw on Netflix debut in January 2025.
It was a good few days for the company, which also held AAA Triplemania 34 night one in Las Vegas with over 7,000 fans inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
NXT rating for 09/08/2026
NXT last Tuesday pulled in 714,000 viewers, down 53,000 viewers from the prior week. The show averaged a 0.12 rating in 18-49, down 0.05 from the previous episode. The recent changes in how Nielsen measures certain broadcasts have benefited NXT after previous changes did nothing to move shows on network television.
WWE officially announces move to Netflix in Japan starting October
WWE today officially announced that all of its programming in Japan will move to Netflix starting October 1.
Raw, Smackdown, NXT, premium live events, and the current video library available in other Netflix markets will also be available for Japanese customers.
The WWE broadcast rights in the country are currently held by ABEMA, but that contract expires on September 30.
The final WWE broadcast on the ABEMA streaming service will be the September 28 episode of Raw, which airs on September 29 in Japan.
After this move, the countries of Austria, Germany, Switzerland, China, South Africa, and all of Sub-Saharan Africa will be the only ones not fully on Netflix due to current contracts with local broadcasters. PLEs in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland already air on Netflix.
LA Knight gets WWE World Heavyweight title shot against Roman Reigns at MITB 2026
LA Knight is getting a WWE World Heavyweight title shot at Money In The Bank next month after attacking Roman Reigns following his successful title defense against Penta last night on Raw in Mexico City.
The attack took place after the Netflix broadcast went off the air when Knight marched down to the ring to confront Reigns. Reigns went to grab the mic to run his mouth but Knight didn’t want to hear anything, and instead kicked him in the gut and hit the BFT as the crowd roared its approval. Knight then grabbed the title and talked smack to Reigns.
After Reigns made his way to the back, the champ said he’s sick and tired of “all these beggars.”
“You want it? If he wants it, he can get it. Money in the Bank, New Orleans. Down south, I’m gonna whoop his bitchass,” Reigns told the camera.

The final WWE stop in Mexico takes place tonight live on Raw as the red brand takes over Arena CDMX.

Former WWE star Mark “Muhammad Hassan” Copani to release book next month
Marc Copani, the former WWE Superstar best known as Muhammad Hassan, is putting the lessons behind an extraordinary second act into Wrestling with Adversity: How to Deal with Life’s Challenges. The 240-page book is available for pre-order now through Barnes & Noble and Amazon ahead of its October 8 release from G&D Media. The official book trailer is now available to watch on Instagram.
In his early 20s, Copani went from WWE’s Ohio Valley Wrestling developmental system to national television, quickly becoming one of the company’s most talked-about villains and appearing opposite Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, John Cena and The Undertaker. His run ended abruptly in 2005 after a controversial SmackDown storyline collided with the London bombings. The rise, backlash and aftermath were revisited in the 2025 Dark Side of the Ring season finale, “Becoming Muhammad Hassan.”
Copani uses that experience as the starting point, then focuses on what came next: returning to college, building a new career as a history teacher and school administrator and learning to see adversity as a beginning rather than an end. He now serves as Director of Human Resources for the Fulton City School District in New York. Through his story, the book offers steps to help readers change their perspective, move through disappointment and begin building again.
“When wrestling ended, I had to figure out who I was without the future I had planned for myself,” said Copani. “Wrestling with Adversity is about changing the way you see disappointment, taking the next step and realizing that one ending does not get to decide the rest of your life.”
The book has already earned praise from nine-time world champion Chris Jericho, who writes that Copani “used the lessons he learned in pro wrestling (both good and bad) to rebuild & restructure his life.”

2026 Continental Classic tournament to kick off on November 18
The Continental Classic tournament will return this year and kicks off on the Wednesday, November 18 episode of Dynamite.
This was announced by AEW today while promoting tickets for the show which will be held at the Mission Ballroom in Denver, Colorado.
The C2 tournament concept was introduced in 2023 and features 14 AEW stars, split into two groups, in a round-robin tournament where winners receive three points for a win and one point for a draw. The top two in each league then face off each other in the final tournament match.
Previous winners include Eddie Kingston, Kazuchika Okada, and Jon Moxley.
The tournament final usually takes place at the Worlds End pay-per-view at the end of December.
Report: Ilja Dragunov on his way to AEW
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting through his Select service that Ilja Dragunov is on the way to join AEW.
The former NXT champion recently departed WWE after his contract expired and opted not to sign a new one. Dragunov could appear at any time as there is no notice period he has to go through as he fulfilled his contractual obligations.
Sapp adds that there are some “final details” that needs to be ironed out before the 32-year-old becomes All Elite.
The Moscow-born star also has to work out his U.S. visa as Sapp notes that he is one of those individuals whose visa was about to expire. Dragunov also holds a German citizenship.
Dragunov worked with WWE from 2019 through 2026, winning the NXT, NXT UK, and WWE United States title along the way.
Roxanne Perez to face new AAA Reina de Reinas champion La Catalina at Worlds Collide
Judgment Day member Roxanne Perez will be facing new AAA Reina de Reinas champion La Catalina later this month at WWE/AAA Worlds Collide.
La Catalina ended Flammer’s historic 1,128-day reign as champion last night at Triplemania 34: Mexico City. This is her first title reign in AAA after she became the first star to move from CMLL to the WWE-owned rival promotion.
Perez beat Faby Apache, La Hiedra, and Nattie in a fatal four-way match on night one of Triplemania 34 in Las Vegas on Friday night to earn her shot.
Worlds Collide will take place on Saturday, September 26 live from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.com starting from $57.10.
