Drew McIntyre returns to the United States, available for SummerSlam

Drew McIntyre is back in the United States and will be available for SummerSlam after he got denied boarding at the airport a few days ago due to him not having his U.S. passport with him.

McIntyre went to the UK for a friend’s wedding and only took his British passport. But since he’s a U.S. citizen, he requires the U.S. passport to travel back to the United States. The former champ was denied boarding and WWE had to work out a solution for him to return.

Drew filmed another video blasting anyone who sent him text messages to find out more information about him because he said it was only to leak it to the media and ripped on The Miz for offering to take his spot in case he was still stuck in the UK come SummerSlam.

But then, he turned the camera and Logan Paul was next to him laughing. Drew said that Paul has some friends in high places and blamed Jelly Roll again for making him stay in the UK longer.

“Come Saturday, you and Randy Orton are screwed,” McIntyre said.

SummerSlam 2025 close to 100,000 tickets sold for two-night event

SummerSlam is inching closer to 100,000 tickets sold for the two-night event as the company moved over 10,000 tickets in three days.

@WrestleTix is reporting that SummerSlam Saturday is now at 47,468 tickets distributed, with a total of 5,111 tickets moved in 72 hours. SummerSlam Sunday is at 50,387 with 5,390 tickets moved in the same period.

With 97,800+ tickets out, they’re just over 2,000 tickets away from 100,000 over two days, which will be a big success either way you look at it.

The MetLife Stadium holds over 80,000 seats but the company was never going to be able to sell that many tickets each night.

SummerSlam Sunday is just around 6,000 tickets away from reaching last year’s attendance and with a few more days to go, it’s something that can be easily achievable.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.com.

Hulk Hogan’s cause of death revealed, medical examiner report also states he had leukemia

Hulk Hogan death

The New York Post is reporting that records from the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center show that Hulk Hogan died from a heart attack.

The cause of death was listed as acute myocardial infarction, the fancier definition of a heart attack, which is acute obstruction of a coronary artery.

The documents, obtained by NY Post’s Page Six, also show that the WWE Hall of Famer had a history of AFib and leukemia CLL, a type of cancer, which was previously information not released.

The medical examiner ruled his death as natural. A cremation request was done by his family.

Hulk had undergone major four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion surgery a month ago, a surgical procedure used to relieve pressure on the spinal cord and nerve roots in the neck. He never recovered from it and was stuck to a hospital bed since then.

Hogan had a cardiac arrest on Thursday, July 24 in the morning and EMTs were unable to revive him. He was declared dead at the hospital.

Brooke Hogan issues long statement on the passing of her father Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan death

Brooke Hogan, the daughter of the late Hulk Hogan, issued a long statement on the passing of her father, posting it on her Instagram account. She is the last one of the family to talk about her father after her brother and her mother issued their own statements over the past few days.

Brooke had not spoken to her father since September 2023 and she wrote that the two became disconnected over disagreements after her father talked to her about personal and business issues. Brooke said she advised her dad to rest because he had nothing else to prove to the world and she and her husband moved to Florida to be closer, but that still did not repair their fragile relationship.

She noted that she knows in her heart she did everything to repair the relationship but she’s at peace knowing she told her father she loved him in their last conversation.

Brooke gave birth to twins earlier this year but Hulk never got to meet his grandchildren.

In a small post on Instagram Story, she said she did not attend her father’s tribute on Raw because WWE did not extend an invite to her.

Her full statement reads as follows:

“My dad’s blood runs through my veins. His eyes shine through my children. And our bond has never broken, not even in his final moments. We had a connection deeper than words, one that spanned lifetimes. I am so grateful I knew the real version of him. Not just the one the world viewed through a carefully curated lens. We shared a quiet, sacred bond, one that could be seen and felt by anyone who witnessed us together. When he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him. I felt it before the news even reached us.

He used to remind me, ‘All of this is temporary and I’ll always find my way back to you.’ I truly believe that — we will find each other in every lifetime. I know he’s at peace now, out of pain, and in a place as beautiful as he imagined. He used to speak about this moment with such wonder and hope. Like meeting God was the greatest championship he’d ever have.

I will remember watching him build my Barbie dream houses, our jet ski rides, laughing till we cried when no one else got the joke, the way he gave me a love and respect for the ocean, the beach, sunsets, and the beauty God painted into this life. His hugs were my home. Wrapping my arms around his big frame always made me feel like his little girl, even as I grew up. I’ll never forget his scent. I swear when I hold my sweet Molly Gene, named after him, she smells just like him sometimes. I feel his presence in my children. He lives through me, and through them. The greatest gift a father could ever give — A love that goes on… long after we’re gone.

But the world he left behind is different than we had imagined. The media has been convoluting the narrative and I feel it necessary to clear a few things up.

We never had a ‘big fight.’ My father and I never ‘fought.’ It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand. My father was confiding in me about issues weighing on his heart, both personal and business. I offered to be a life raft in whatever capacity he needed. I told him he had my support. I begged him to rest, to take care of himself. He had nothing else to prove to the world or anyone. My husband and I moved down to Florida to be near him. He was getting older. I wanted to be there as much as possible. We had been through almost 25 surgeries together, and then all of a sudden he didn’t want me at surgeries… everything started getting covered in a thick veil. It was like there was a force field around him that I couldn’t get through.

He was telling me these things, being so vulnerable with me and heard my pleas, then suddenly something shifted, and he made a choice to walk the path that clearly tore at his spirit. I felt a disconnect. What followed were respectful disagreements that took an emotional toll on me. You have to imagine, along with this, everybody inserts their opinion, never really knowing the truth or walking in our shoes. I also got pregnant with our twins shortly after, and had a very complicated and scary c section with a hard recovery. I actually feel it was my daddy’s thick Bollea blood that kept me alive to be honest.

Prior to this, I was by my father’s side for nearly every surgery. I knew his medical history like a roadmap. When I heard about the valve surgery, which was in a conversation I was part of with his doctors a few years back, I had my husband send over detailed notes from past hospital stays. I knew, deeply, what that procedure meant-it was a final option, one that might buy time, but not much more.

During the last two years, I had to step away to protect my heart. My husband stayed open, quietly reaching out to my dad without me knowing, trying to find a safe way back in for me. After my father passed, I read those messages, some answered, some ignored… but all of them broke my heart.

In the end, he continued to be a financial success for many. This was the last thing I wanted for him — he’s been working and tearing his body apart his entire life.

I know in my heart I did everything I could. He knew I would run through a burning building for him. And in many ways, along the path of life, I did. He knows how deeply, how hard and how purely I loved him. I am at peace knowing this.

All I ever truly wanted from my father was love, honesty, and a deep connection. And for a few special years, I had that — with memories that will last a lifetime.

My world is forever changed. But I’m deeply blessed with a loving husband and two beautiful children who remind me every day of life’s greatest gifts.

I’m deeply grateful for the love, tributes, and memorials from his fans and friends. His life was one worth celebrating — and always will be.”

Jax worked on Legend and then rolled her back in the ring where Henley performed her finisher for the pin. After the match, Jax continued with her attack on Legend and hit her with the Annihilator.

Legend eliminated Jax during the Evolution women’s battle royal so this was payback by Jax.

Reacting to her appearance, NXT General Manager Ava wrote, “@LinaFanene ??? just text me next time!”

Vince McMahon causes car crash involving two other vehicles

TMZ is reporting that Vince McMahon was involved in a car accident on Thursday morning, ramming his Bentley into the back of a BMW. A third card, a Ford Fusion, was also damaged in the same accident after debris from both cars landed on the other lane.

The cars had to be towed but none of the drivers suffered any injuries thanks to the seatbelt they were wearing.

The driver of the BMW was a 72-year-old woman, who on Facebook wrote that she was lucky to survive the horrific car crash. She said that McMahon hit her going “80-90mph” and was catapulted over 100 yards off the road.

She also added that a state trooper followed him as McMahon “sped in and out of cars down the highway.”

McMahon, who was the one who caused the accident, was issued misdemeanor summons for reckless and following too closely resulting in an accident by police. He got out on a $500 non-surety bond and has a court date on August 26.

The collision took place just a couple of hours before Hulk Hogan’s death was publicly announced.

Linda Bollea breaks her silence over the death of Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan death

Linda Bollea, the ex-wife of Hulk Hogan, broke her silence on the death of her former husband in a post on Instagram.

Linda posted a photo of the two together last week, just days before he passed, writing “The good old days!”

Posting a statement on the same Instagram post, Linda said that it’s hard to know that he’s just gone now.

“I had no idea he would pass away this soon. We all really thought he would make a comeback! Big surprise. We are all devastated,” she said.

Linda said that his death is hitting her hard and she loved Hulk more than he loved her. She said it hurt when he cheated but she missed him.

“I’ve been weeping all day. The finality. It’s just shocking. We spent every minute together for so many years. I’ve known him since he was 28 yrs old! I was 22. I still love him. Even tho I never spoke or saw him, Nick did .. and Nick would tell me things and vice versa. Just news about life. I still felt .. although broken .. we still were a family. It’s so hard to know he’s just gone. I tried to stay strong for Nick .. but I’m melting down now. It’s very sad,” she continued.

Linda concluded with, “I love you Hulkster. You were my man. The only man for me. RIP.”

WWE building massive stage for SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium

WWE is building one of their massive stages for SummerSlam as production crew took over MetLife Stadium a couple of days ago to start assembling the set.

Photos from inside the stadium show a huge elevated platform built with a ramp coming up from the back, with several heavy machinery in place. Eight large vertical steel structures will support whatever the set will be.

Corner pillars will have to be used to support the canopy over the ring where the video screens will be installed but those are still not visible in the leaked photo.

WWE never used a WrestleMania-type set for SummerSlam since the show transitioned to a stadium in 2021.

Popular Hulk Hogan LJN action figure from the 80s being re-released

The Hulk Hogan WWE Superstars LJN action figure from the 1980s is being re-released.

Coming in late October, the 7.76″ action figure features Hulk Hogan with a removable title belt. It was originally released in 1984 by LJN but now it’s produced by Mattel, with some very slight changes, mainly to the tan and title belt.

While it seems coincidental that the action figure is being re-released just after Hogan passed away, TMZ reports that the plan has been in the works for more than a year and Hogan was actually involved in the process.

The figure was supposed to have been unveiled at the San Diego Comic Con last weekend but WWE only announced the release of Logan Paul, Dusty Rhodes, and John Cena LJN-inspired action figures.

Target has already sold out of all the pre-orders. The price was set at $24.99.
