AEW files to trademark September to Remember ahead of Philly residency

AEW logo

With AEW about to start their multi-show residency in Philadelphia in two weeks time, the company has filed to trademark the term September to Remember with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

AEW will hold seven shows at the 2300 Arena, formerly known as the ECW Arena, with their residency running through September 11. In total, they will tape three Dynamite, three Collision, and the ROH Death Before Dishonor events.

The September to Remember name comes off the November to Remember name which was an ECW pay-per-view in the past and considering they will be in the former home of ECW, the name makes perfect sense for whatever it will be used. The trademark was filed for services related to a wrestling event.

AEW extends Danhausen’s contract to cover injury time “against his wishes”

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting through his Select service that AEW has extended Danhausen’s contract into next year to cover the time he was out injured.

Danhausen spent eight months on the sidelines in 2023 after he suffered a torn pec muscle. He has not been seen on AEW television since the Worlds End pay-per-view in 2023 and then had a cameo during the ROH Final Battle show in December of last year.

Sapp adds that Danhausen would have preferred if his contract expired when it was supposed to and his extension was done “against his wishes.”

It’s unclear when his deal will now run out but will remain on the AEW books for the next several months at least.

Clash in Paris

Another match for Clash in Paris was made official last night on Raw and will feature two European stars who have been at each other’s throats for the past few weeks.

Former WWE champion Sheamus will be taking on Rusev in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Doonybrook match. The match was announced by a very angry Adam Pearce after the two brawled throughout the backstage area yesterday, with Pearce saying it will be the “last time.”

As both screamed at each other separated by referees and official, Pearce screamed even more louder to get them out.

“I need a drink,” he exclaimed.

Naomi shares more details about pregnancy and fertility issues along the years

Appearing on a bonus segment on the What’s Your Story? Podcast with Stephanie McMahon, Naomi and Jimmy Uso gave more details on the pregnancy.

Naomi said that she was in a hotel room on Sunday, August 10 when she did a pregnancy test to “kinda rule it out” as she was feeling a little bit off. She mentioned that she had a lot of fertility issues throughout her life so she did not think it was possible.

That day was the day before she was supposed to defend the title against Iyo Sky on Raw and her match was pulled off the card. Naomi did further tests which revealed she was actually seven weeks pregnant, so she was already unknowingly pregnant at SummerSlam when she defended the title against Rhea Ripley and Sky.

An emotional Naomi also discussed how health issues almost made it impossible for her to have a baby the natural way, detailing the removal of her right ovary before she made her main roster debut and five years ago undergoing surgery to remove “tons” of fibroids from her uterus.

The now-former WWE Women’s World champion said that everything is good so far and she just has to have checkups more often since she’s graded as a high-risk pregnancy.

Earlier in the podcast, McMahon joked with Jimmy Uso saying he didn’t proceed with caution and he said he proceeded with caution for a long time before!

Roman Reigns challenges Bronson Reed for Clash in Paris

Clash in Paris

Roman Reigns helped Jey Uso defeat Bron Breakker in an extreme rules match last night on Raw and then issued a challenge for Clash in Paris.

Reigns hit a spear on Breakker and then a Superman punch on Reed during the match, allowing Uso to deliver a superkick to Breakker and then the big splash through the table for the pinfall victory.

After the match, Reigns turned his attention to the Australian Reed, challenging him for Clash in Paris. Reed agreed to the match but as of now, the match was not made official.

Reigns was added to the Clash in Paris and international Raws on the road to Paris a few weeks ago.

Tickets for the show remain available at Ticketmaster.fr.

Proceed with caution! Naomi announces she is pregnant!

Naomi announced on Raw last night that she is pregnant and relinquished the WWE Women’s World title.
Naomi started her in-ring segment by pointing everyone to the screen where a clip of her and her husband announcing that they are expecting on the Stephanie McMahon podcast was played.
After that concluded, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce was in the ring ready to collect the title but a smiling Naomi turned angry and told Pearce to get the hell out of the ring because, “I ain’t handing you shit” this time around.
Naomi said this all happened because of Big Jim, Netflix, and chill, and told the women’s locker room that they have Jimmy to thank otherwise she would have destroyed all of them throughout her title reign.
Naomi said on the brighter side of things, the Bloodline continues and fans chanted “OTC” and “Baby Uso.”
She then placed the title in the middle of the ring and had a warning for everyone in the back: in nine months, she will come back to take her title even if it means bringing her baby along while breastfeeding!
The situation with the title will be addressed next week on Raw. Stephanie Vaquer was supposed to get a title shot at Clash in Paris and she might still be. What is for sure though a new champion will be crowned soon!

Four matches, Naomi addresses status, and Roman Reigns set for Raw

Raw

Tonight’s Raw is the last one in the United States for the next two weeks as WWE goes overseas this week on the road to Clash in Paris.

Four matches are already announced for the show including Bron Breakker vs Jey Uso, Becky Lynch vs Natalya for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental title, Penta vs Xavier Woods, and Iyo Sky vs Raquel Rodriguez.

Plus, WWE Women’s World champion Naomi will address her status, CM Punk will be in the building, and Roman Reigns is also advertised for the show.

How technology is driving the growth of online sports gambling worldwide

Technology is never dormant. It continuously works on creating various innovations that are going to change not only our lives, but also different industries. The one that has been impacted by it numerous times is the gambling industry, for sure.

This is especially the situation with sports betting, which is continuously embracing fantastic tools that are intended to completely reshape it. The ones that made the biggest transformations so far are about to be introduced in today’s article. So, let’s check them out together!

Websites That Are Designed To Guide You!

When you’re new to this world, you may perceive this whole industry as something that’s only entertaining and completely harmless, which isn’t exactly the truth. Just like in every other industry, there are a lot of so-called bad guys whose only goal is to trick and scam people.

Luckily, all of this can be prevented if you make use of sites that are created to help you “detect” a professional, transparent, and trustworthy operator. These online guides will tell you how to distinguish safe Norwegian casinos from the ones that aren’t, which is crucial if you’re a novice. Of course, if you do not live in this country, search for those that discuss casinos that operate in the place you live.

But the point is that thanks to technology, these days, you do not need to be afraid that you’ll run into something that’s fishy, because these websites are here to guide you all the way through.

Moving On To The Mobile Betting Applications

Smartphones have completely taken over the world, turning into one of the most integral devices in people’s lives. That’s probably one of the main reasons why the gambling industry decided to simplify access to sports betting precisely through cell phones, making this whole experience far more convenient and smoother.

Today, the vast majority of punters use mobile betting applications to place their wagers, and most of these bets are being conducted precisely through mobile phones. What makes them so practical?

Namely, these apps are packed with a bunch of awesome features that allow gamblers to have a seamless betting experience. Moreover, they are provided with live streaming of all essential events, real-time updates, and many other virtual amenities to keep them informed and engaged as far as this aspect of the gambling industry is concerned.

When AI And Machine Learning Join Forces

Artificial intelligence decided to get together with machine learning and reshape sports betting a little bit. Thanks to these two, different outcomes can now be predicted. For example, AI can effectively foresee potential injury risks by correlating historical data with the workload patterns.

Because of artificial intelligence and its prediction models, various sports teams were able to drastically lower player downtime, which encouraged others who haven’t used it so far to consider implementing this technological advancement.

In terms of gaming, game developers are making use of predictive analytics to create personalized content and forecast player behavior.

It’s easy to see that sports betting has evolved over the past several years, which is one of the major reasons why its large community of bettors is continuously expanding. The only thing that’s left is to impatiently wait to see what technology will bring in the future when it comes to this aspect of the gambling industry.

Bubba “The Love Sponge” says Brooke Hogan was told something was “bad” with father’s death

Hulk Hogan death

Bubba “The Love Sponge” has claimed that Brooke Hogan has reached out to him to tell him that she’s been notified by cops and nurses “who have been there” to let her know that there is something bad going on with her father’s death.

Brooke has offered to pay for an autopsy of her father herself but the order has to come from Hulk’s wife Sky, who so far has not entertained the idea although she has not proceeded with the cremation due to some unanswered questions surrounding Hogan’s death.

“Listen, it’s a mic drop with an autopsy, an independent autopsy from Orange County or somewhere else not in the jurisdiction of Scientology to do an autopsy,” Bubba said. “And at that point, they can say, Bubba, shut your fat mouth, Jay, shut your mouth, Dan, shut your mouth because this is how he died. Here’s what’s in his system. Here’s the blood panel. Here’s the toxicology report, and here’s the fact that he died from a heart attack. Boom.”

The radio host was the only one who kept saying that Hogan was on his deathbed when Hogan’s closest friends all denied it, ultimately proving him correct.

He has been calling for an autopsy to reveal the real reason why Hogan passed away after rumors surfaced that a few things went sideways during his surgeries which left him unable to talk and stuck to a bed for well over a month.

The Undertaker actively helping backstage at AAA shows

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker has seemingly taken a new unofficial role within WWE: being involved in the creative aspect of the shows, especially AAA.

The Undertaker has been at AAA shows alongside with Jeremy Borash and has been helping backstage. Taker’s presence was also felt this past weekend at Triplemania XXXIII.

In a video uploaded on Triple H’s X account, he is seen talking about the influence of The Undertaker with AAA lately.

“You know…if you would have told me 20 years ago that one of the big driving forces behind AAA in Mexico would be The Undertaker, it would have been hard for me to, sort of…wrap my head around that,” Triple H says.

Taker is also working with WWE LFG, coaching one of the four teams and has been lending a helping hand at the WWE Performance Center as well.

Cody Rhodes filming Street Fighter movie, playing the role of Guile

Cody Rhodes is currently away filming the movie Street Fighter where he is playing the role of Guile.

A teaser image of the shadow Cody as Guile was posted by comedian Andrew Schultz, who is playing the character of Dan Hibiki in the movie, as an Instagram Story.

Cody was written off TV for a few weeks on Smackdown two weeks ago after he got attacked by Drew McIntyre. The American Nightmare is expected to be back on WWE television shortly and will not miss out a lot of time.

Guile debuted as one of the original eight World Warriors in 1991’s Street Fighter II video game by Capcom and is one of the most popular characters in the series. In the game he is a U.S. Air Force pilot who is seeking to avenge the death of his friend. Guile holds the rank of Colonel in the game.

Jean-Claude Van Damme portrayed the same character in the Street Fighter movie which was released in 1994.

Rhodes joins fellow WWE Superstar Roman Reigns in the movie. Reigns was cast as Akuma.

Vikingo vs Dom Mysterio to headline Worlds Collide in Las Vegas

Worlds Collide

Dom Mysterio is receiving an AAA Mega Championship match against El Hijo del Vikingo at the upcoming WWE/AAA Worlds Collide in September.

Coming off Saturday’s four-way main event, WWE announced that Mysterio is next in line for the belt and judging by the reaction for Mysterio from the crowd during the weekend, this will be a popular decision.

Mysterio was one count away from winning the title on Saturday but AJ Styles ruined the party by breaking the pin after he pulled the referee. Styles then delivered the Styles Clash on Mysterio and Vikingo followed with the 630 splash for the win.

The supposed face of AAA was booed by his own people when celebrating keeping the title. Mysterio, on the other hand, received a thunderous ovation when he came out and in the closing moments of the match.

Triplemania XXXIII a rousing success for AAA and WWE

WWE AAA

Triplemania XXXIII was a rousing success last night, with Arena CDMX in Mexico City packed to its rafters.

The total attendance announced was 19,691 and the number represented an expanded set up after initial tickets sold out. The stage was decreased in size to accommodate for a few thousand more fans.

This was the first Triplemania with WWE firmly behind its production and the show did have a WWE-feel to it from the very beginning. WWE President Nick Khan, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development and Creative Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker were all at the show overseeing everything.

The show was streamed on WWE’s YouTube channel for the first time ever and by the time it was over, it had around 1.3 million views on the English language channel and an additional 900,000 on the Spanish language channel. In addition to YouTube, Triplemania XXXIII also aired on HBO Max, Space and Azteca 7 in Mexico.

12 hours removed from the show, Triplemania had over 2.8 million views combined on YouTube and climbing.

The show also did great on social media, trending #1 on X for a long time during the broadcast.

Finn Balor unveils Demonito at Triplemania XXXIII

During last night’s AAA Triplemania XXXIII event, Judgment Day’s Finn Balor had his own secret weapon to battle Mr. Iguana’s popular puppet La Yesca, unveiling the Demonito puppet based on the Demon Finn Balor gimmick.

Balor was teaming with JD McDonagh and Raquel Rodriguez in a mixed trios match against Mr. Iguana, Nino Hamburguesa, and NXT’s Lola Vice and at one point during the match, Iguana had La Yesca and Balor stood on the apron with something hidden in his hand.

Then, as the stare down intensified, Balor unveiled his own puppet as the crowd gasped.

“It’s him! He’s here! Oh my God, run for the exits,” screamed JBL on commentary. “It’s who?” replied Corey Graves. “Demonito,” JBL screamed back.

At that point, Balor’s Demonito was facing Mr. Iguana and La Yesca, both of whom had their mouth wide open.

“We’re all domed,” continued JBL as Balor entered the ring and the two puppets went at it.

“Puppet fight,” screamed Corey Graves as Balor hit a DDT on Iguana and then Demonito ate La Yesca.

Hamburguesa then offered a burger as a peace offering to Balor, who ate it, and also ate a kick to the head from Iguana which freed La Yesca from Demonito’s jaws.

Judgment Day eventually won the match after Raquel pinned Vice for the victory.

Not wasting time capitalizing on Demonito’s success, WWE Shop is already selling the replica plush puppet for a cool price of $99.99.
